00:00Real quick, the only ask I could ever have of you guys is to help spread the word so we can help more women lose body fat, build muscle, reach their goals, and feel insanely confident. And the only way we can do that is if you rate, review, and share this podcast. So the single thing I ask for you to do is if you could leave a review. It will take you 10 seconds, and it will mean the absolute world to me and may change the world of someone else. A Breakthrough with WarriorBabe, and I don't know if it's the daily systems I've put in place every morning with taking the time I need to get all the things ready for the day with scripture reading, prayer, getting my water, taking an early walk, eating my meals, and knowing exactly what I'm doing throughout the day with my meals, that it never crossed my mind.

00:48Because food is for energy and life. It's not to tamper down any feelings. And so it never crossed my mind to eat my feelings. What is going on, everybody? Welcome back to The WarriorBabe Show. And today I have a very, very special episode lined up for you guys. I love sharing real stories from real people.

01:21And today is just that. Our guest today is a remarkable individual who has taken control of her health and her fitness journey through the Warrior Babe program, her dedication, her hard work, and such an incredible transformation or nothing short of inspiring. So everybody that's listening, please join me in welcoming Carrie, who is here to share her journey, her challenges, her successes, and all decked out in warrior babe gear and the nails. Showing the nails, Carrie.

01:52Gotta be on brand. Gotta be on brand. Welcome to the show, Carrie. Carrie. Thank you so much. So my name is Carrie Craft. I am 52. I'll be 53 on October 3rd. Gifts accepted and welcome. I am from Topeka, Kansas. Wow. Okay. So we got a Kansas babe in the house. Let's go. That's right. Well, as we dive into all of the questions I need to delve in with you and have you share your story, I want to give a little bit of a background for the listeners that are listening right now.

02:26Carrie started her journey in Warrior Babe and actually our blueprint program. And we're going to talk a little bit about that. We don't offer the blueprint program anymore. We're strictly all VIP, which she's in that right now. But she started back in October of 2022, right? Yes. Yeah. And you were at 230 pounds at that point, right? Yes. Okay. And then you got down to 213 in seven months, right? Yes. And then you eventually hit your lowest weight at 212, right? Yes. Oh, I know. We're going to unpack all of this.

02:56Yes, we're going to unpack it. Yes. And then life happened. Life happened. As it totally does with a lot of people. Especially, I mean, the blueprint, we don't hold it. We don't hold your hand as much as we do on a VIP. Yeah. So you gained all that weight back. You joined the VIP program. Yes. And this year, February of 2024. Yes. You were weighing the same that you started the blueprint. You were 230. Correct. Yes. Four months. Four months. Four months. You dropped back down to 213. Yes. With Coach Holly. Shout out Coach Holly.

03:27And you're eating more carbs, right? That's the thing. Can I just say this morning, I'm 207.8. Oh! Oh! Let's go. Let's go. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Coach Holly adjusted my macros and took down my protein a little bit, took down the fat a little bit, and gave me more carbs. And I'm like, what? Ah! That's what I like to hear. Carbs. You make carbs great again. That's right. All right. So let's briefly talk about your initial challenges that you were experiencing before you signed

04:03up for the Warrior Babe Blueprint. Can you touch on those? Of course. So, you know, I've not been happy with my body since I was 12 years old. And I wasn't a fat kid. I can look at pictures. I was very active, riding my bike, climbing trees, running around crazy. But, you know, I saw my mom constantly dieting just growing up in the 80s where you have Denise Austin and Jane Fonda. And, you know, I'm like, I did not look like those chicks, right?

04:34You know, and I'm like, what's wrong with me? So I was just constantly dieting, not happy with my body. And then when I was in our early marriage, my husband and I decided to become foster parents. And I first got a job at a children's home. And I gained 20 pounds there. And they told us, if you don't watch yourself, you're going to gain 20 pounds. I'm like, whatever. I was 24 years old. I gained 20 pounds. And then as a foster parent, I gained 70 pounds.

05:06Oh, my goodness. As a foster parent. And so through these years of being, you know, age 12 into early adulthood, trying all the different diets, trying everything, just nothing really working. But it was my foster care journey where I realized I eat my feelings. And I could look back in my childhood, my teen years, coming home from school and just powering down all the food because I was depressed. Wow. Eating late at night just because I was, you know, just sad and not wanting to deal, not

05:38wanting tomorrow to come. I just would rather stay up late and eat. And I was working with my first foster child and I was putting her to bed and she shared with me something that happened to her. And it was, it was truly horrible. And I mindlessly went into the kitchen and I ate two or two more bowls of chili. And I was on my third piece of pie when I thought, what are you doing? Wow. And that's when I realized you are eating your feelings.

06:09But I didn't know how to get a hold of that. I, you know, I didn't know what to do with it. So just my highest weight was 274. So back, I just got tired of it, Nikki. I think that's where my journey started with Warrior Babe. I just got tired of it. I got tired of whenever I went to the doctor with any issue being told, well, you are fat. You thought about losing weight, you know, so I just got tired of it.

06:40Wow. What a story, Carrie. Selfishly, I didn't know that. So it's nice to hear that story and hear your journey and hear what you've gone through at the beginning. And thank you for sharing that. It's vulnerable, but also there's so many people that could resonate with that story. So with all of that that you shared, when you said you were tired and you just had enough, you, did you see me on Instagram or Facebook or something like that? Like what made you motivated to like, what made you motivated?

07:11I saw you on Facebook. It was Facebook. I saw you on Facebook. I saw your Facebook ads and I listened to you and then I clicked and I watched the little video thing and then I got signed up for the emails. So I'm just getting all this knowledge from you. And I'm like, I like what you have to say. And so I started, I started getting my life back. My journey and that started in August, July of 2021, just walking, just walking. That's all I focused on is walking. And then I saw you on Facebook.

07:41I saw you on Facebook. I'm like, look at her. I like what you have to say. And it makes sense. And what hit me is when you said, if you want to learn how to control your body and the way you look for the rest of your life, come see us. And I'm like, that's what I want. So I started just looking at the content you put out there that that's readily available to anybody and tried to, I've started walking. Then I started implementing macros to the best I could try to figure out, listening to your podcast. And then I started lifting weights with what knowledge I have, because I've tried everything

08:15and just doing those things. And then I started talking to my husband. I'm like, I would like to join. And so I learned about the blueprint program and I got into that. And my husband just saw my consistency. Like I was really striving and making, you know, I got down from 274 to 230 just by walking and dabbling in macros. Yes, say that louder, say that louder. Just walking and doing my best with macros, you know, got me 40 pounds lighter.

08:49And so I then, when I gained it all back, I went to my husband and like, I need hand holding. I need someone to help me get through this plateau because I am struggling. So what were you struggling with the most, like during your experience in the blueprint? And like, what, how, what happened? What, what, what, how'd you gain that weight back? Oh, okay. Well, my, my daughter got married in August and last, yeah, last August.

09:21And so the stress of all that, I had injury to my left ear in July and that stressed me out. Like I lost a little bit of hearing firecrackers. Okay. I was going to be like, well, I'm thinking like a dodgeball hit you. No, no. I didn't move quick enough. Okay. It's totally dumb. It's so stupid, but it like, that took me off my game. Cause there's a lot of static and, and blaring and it was, it was terrible. Um, and so I was eating my feelings there and my daughter got married and then my friend

09:53and I took a road trip to New Orleans and we ate well, friend. Okay. We enjoyed ourselves. What in a Nikki true fashion? Did you like an a-hole? You know, it was so funny when I heard you say that, because I thought that was the term I coined like what I thought, I thought just my sisters and I were the only ones who spoke about that. Yes, ma'am. Yes.

10:25And, um, then in November, my dad, um, he is a type two diabetic. He ended up on Thanksgiving day with a sore on his foot that when we saw, we're like, you're going to the ER right now. And it ended up my sister and I staying at his house for two weeks, taking care of our step-mom while my dad was in the hospital, getting his foot taken care of. And we comforted ourselves with Oreos and no bake cookies. Oh, Oreos. Oh gosh. That's a, that's a weakness right there.

10:57And I, I can't even tell you the amount of Oreos and no bakes we, we consumed. No bake cookies. You eat the cookie dough. No, well, like they're no bake cookies. Like they're, it's, you don't like to oats and chocolate. Oh, and peanut butter. Oh Lord. And you don't bake them, but we buy it. We bought them at Dylan's and they're amazing. And we ate, that's how we comforted ourselves. But, um. There's so many people that can resonate with that.

11:28Like there, there's been so many people that have come to me, like, how do you deal with emotional eating? How do you deal with overcoming, um, you know, standing in your kitchen and you're like, Oh, how am I here right now? What? Yes. What made you like in those moments kind of like you just, you said it when you were fostering your earlier on, when you were dealing with the, bringing that awareness, like what clicked for you in that moment? And be like, Oh my God, I'm standing here just eating my feelings right now. I, I don't know. Back in at that time, I really don't know. I just, I probably pain because I had just consumed a lot of food, but I, I don't know.

12:05And it's something that I find myself, I was doing a lot with, I didn't want tomorrow to come. So I would stay awake as long as I could. And I would eat cause eating would keep me awake because I didn't want to deal with tomorrow. And I found myself in that space a lot. And like, even like six months ago. Um, but what I said to my husband, when I gained the weight back up to two 30, I need help. And so I contacted and did a little coat, like a exploratory call with warrior babe about

12:41VIP. And I was, um, getting a new job where I would have a consistent income. Cause I was a contractor before. And he, you know, he was on board. He's like, yeah, let's do this. And we're going to, we're going to start this at this point after you get established in your new job. Um, and that's what we did. He was, he's on board. He is there for it. That's amazing. That's an amazing support system to have. Yeah. Does he work out too? Not yet, but he had done a program last year. He was doing a program, um, called fit father that he was, he was doing.

13:17Yeah. And, um, but now it, you know, things that work has changed and he hasn't gone back to it and he sees what I'm doing. I'm like, so what are you going to do? Like, that's an amazing support system. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. So, okay. You being VIP now, right? Yes. It took you seven months to lose the weight in blueprint. It took you four months to lose the weight this time. And now you're at your lowest now. Two of seven. Yeah. What's the biggest difference in that timeframe? Like what, what's making you make it happen faster?

13:47Okay. So with blueprint, I was using the tools and the dashboard, which are amazing, but I kept like, I kept taking my carbs down because I'm like, why is it this? So I just kept bumping my carbs down. Why isn't this working? But with coach Holly, like when, um, she was also there to be like, you need to be more consistent. You need to hit these macros. And so she's calling me out, like, you need to do this. And then, um, we are doing a little mini, mini, mini, mini, mini, mini, mini.

14:18Hey, we're doing a mini cut right now. And so, um, she suggested my carbs down a little bit, but not like the drastic thing, you know, before like a little bit. And then she was analyzing my steps and she's like, you need to move more. And so I just started moving more. And my weight is the moving. Heck yeah. That's amazing. That's awesome. You're making some incredible progress there.

14:49Can we wait until you dip into the 100s? It's right on the corner, Carrie. Wonder, Wonderville is right there. And yes. What? Wonderville? Is that what you're calling it? Yeah. I think that, I think the term is actually Wonderland. That's what it is. I made up a new one right there, which is fine. I love it. It's Wonderland, but I just said Wonderville. I love that. So going back to you being overweight and like back to the emotional eating and your doctor

15:20being like, Hey, like, you know, this is what's going on. What were some other activities that you found difficult that you weren't able to achieve back then, but you've been able to now since you, since working with Coach Holly and Warrior Babe? I'm walking more. I'm lifting. I keep progressive overload. I'm doing that. I'm seeing my collarbones reemerging. And it's the little things that seem dumb, but I can bend over in the car and pick something

15:52off the floorboard. I couldn't do that before. I can bend my knees up to my chest and check out my toes and paint my toes. I couldn't do that before. I can tie my shoes with no issue. When you've got a bigger tummy, I've lost six inches around the belly button and six inches in my hips in four months. I can bend. Oh my gosh. That is incredible.

16:23Yeah. Yeah. So I've seen that. And I'm an asthmatic as well. And when I was at 270, my pulmonologist was like, if you would lose 50 pounds, you would be off these meds. And I went back the following year and I still hadn't lost the weight. And then I went back after being in Blueprint and I was down the 50 pounds. And he discharged me from his care. In the past, I was using one rescue inhaler a month, going through one rescue inhaler a month.

17:00Now a rescue inhaler lasts me eight, nine months. You're giving me the chills over here. Yeah. You have like a new bill of life. I do. I really do. So just getting that weight off of me and moving and walking has helped my asthma to improve. Oh my God. Ladies, are you feeling frustrated with body changes you're experiencing during menopause?

You are moving better, breathing better, and you're adding, as you continue the strength training, you're adding more years to your life too.

18:36Yeah. And you have the few, four kids now, right? You have three fosters and one biological. One biological daughter and then three boys that we adopted from foster care. Oh my gosh, that's incredible. We are an empty nester though. They're all out there. Oh, they're gone. Yes. Yes. And you have eight grandchildren, right? Yeah. My daughter is pregnant with our eighth grandchild right now. Yes. So how is like moving when you were 230, 270, how is moving around then with the, maybe the

19:08ones that were younger at that time, if they were, and now? Well, I will let you know, cause they're coming over tomorrow to spend the weekend with us. Yay! Yay! So I'll have more insight into that tomorrow cause they live two hours away from us. So, um, we don't get to spend as much time with them, but I'm sure it's going to be a heck of a lot easier. And I've gone on walks with my grand, my grandsons in the past and yeah. So that just makes my heart feel so good. Yeah. And growing up now, how old are they?

19:40So I can like paint these, man. Uh, the oldest is you're testing me. You're testing me. The oldest is you weren't ready for that one. You know what? I probably be the same exact way. I know the oldest is 12. Okay. Okay. And then the youngest, it was born in May. Oh, wow. So, okay. These are your grandchildren. How about your kiddos? How old are your kids? Oh, my oldest, my, my, my son is 36.

20:13And then I have another son who's 30. One of our sons passed away. Um, our middle son passed away accidental drug overdose. Oh, wow. I'm so sorry. Yeah. Um, ate my feelings with that one as well. Yeah, I'm sure. Was that when you were two, two 70? Was that, um, I was actually in the process of, um, losing weight again. And then he passed away. And, um, and that's when I, I developed the pudge above my belt line. I'm like, that's new. I'm like, that's, we're going to call that Alan because I ate the feelings over, over that,

20:48um, over, over losing our son, Alan. And, um, so, and then our, um, so he's forever 23. Oh, yeah. Sorry to hear that. And then, you know, that I, I'm so like, people can resonate too with that one. I'm sure people will have eaten their feelings in terms of a loss or whether that be a son, a child, a family member, a cousin. It's just like anybody. Um, there's so many different avenues of which emotional eating can happen. So thank you for sharing that. Like that. And then our youngest son, he was born in 92.

21:23So is he 33, 32, 33? I'm 34. So yeah, he's 32. Okay. Born in 90. Yeah. And our daughter is 26. Nice. Okay. And wow. So, and an aging from 12 to soon a couple months. So that's so cool. I can't wait to hear through Holly. I'll have to share with Holly how you, how you move and hanging out with all these guys this week. Yes, I will. Yeah, I will. Hey, hey, just want to drop a huge appreciation to you guys listening to the show. It means a lot. I hope you guys are enjoying it and there's so much more to come with it.

21:54If you are enjoying it, hit the subscribe button. I'd appreciate that tons. And also it would help this podcast reach others who need to hear these messages too. Thanks so much, guys. Let's get back to the show. So, so in Warrior Bay, what was your first one? I kind of think I know what it is, but I want to hear it from you. Okay. What's your, the biggest breakthrough so far that you've experienced with being inside of, let's do with the VIP, with working with Coach Holly? I, I believe it is.

22:25Now I'm curious to know what you think it is, but I just, the importance of consistency, the importance of consistency, the importance of moving. And, um, and then I don't know what has helped healed my heart because I had like a last week, I had like a, um, falling out with a family member, a very, very close family member. And I was just heartbroken and grieving and grieving and grieving.

22:58And, and I just couldn't sit still. So I'd go out and walk. I'd walk three or four times a day. I just couldn't sit still. And I was talking with my sister about it. And I said, Holy crap. I haven't even stopped to think about eating my feelings. It never crossed my mind to eat my feelings. And I'm like, what is happening to me? Like, I don't, I think that has been, I'm calling that, and I wrote that down, like a breakthrough with warrior babe. And I don't know if it's the daily systems I've put in place every morning with taking

23:31the time I need to get all the things ready for the day with scripture, reading prayer, getting my water, taking an early walk, eating my meals and knowing exactly what I'm doing throughout the day with my meals, that it never crossed my mind because food is for energy and life. It's not to tamper down any feelings. And so it never crossed my mind to, to eat my feelings.

24:04That is huge, huge. I'm speechless. Like that is to be able to have that type of transformation to be able, and then to recognize it the way you're recognizing and articulating outwardly. That is amazing. I think that's my biggest warrior babe breakthrough. Okay. I wasn't going to say that. That was yours. That's so crazy. I was going to say the fact that you're eating more carbs.

24:37That's important. That's important. And what I've learned from you, Nikki, chocolate every day, man, chocolate every day. And my goal, my future goal is to be able to eat intuitively. And I know I will get there. And I want to be able to go buy a crumble cookie and have it sit on my counter like you've talked about and have it sit there and just nibble on it. Yes. I want that life. Yes. Yes. You're giving me that chills, Carrie. That's all I want for anybody that's hearing this and listening to the podcast.

25:11It is a warrior babe that like you are saying it through and through. You've been on the struggle bus. You've experienced the challenges. You've been an emotional eater. You've ate your feelings. Yes. You've been an a-hole when you're on a vacation. You gained all the way back. This is the thing that I want everyone that is listening to recognize. You've had your own roller coaster of experiences. But this like where you're operating from right now, that huge breakthrough that you just shared and recognizing that that never even crossed your mind when you had a fallout with a family

25:41member last week. You are the one in control. You are. From what you said at the beginning of the podcast, from what you saw when you were on Facebook, from what we watched on the video, you are in control of your body for the rest of your life. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. I'm speechless. And can I share with you like something else I've recognized? Two things that are huge. I am looking forward to the journey. I no longer stay up at night dreading tomorrow.

26:12I'm excited for tomorrow. I'm excited. Like what, what successes am I going to see tomorrow? What am I going to get to do tomorrow? What's my workout for tomorrow? What chocolate am I going to enjoy tomorrow? Cause I have several, I'm like, you know, like I'm excited. I can't wait to go to bed and do my bedtime routine. And I'm looking forward to my morning routine. And I'm just so thankful for that. Oh, it's really hard to not cry right now. It's really hard to not cry.

26:43That is it. It's so inspiring. It's so incredible. It's you've taken control. Like you've, you're in the driver's seat of your entire journey and you have worry babe in the passenger seat, just helping you along the way. It's awesome. And to hear the words that, you know, you have goals to want to, and like you have aspirations to want to intuitively, you know, that this isn't something that it's going to be for the rest of your life in terms of tracking macros. That's something that like, I just try and outwardly express to everybody.

27:14Cause macros can be so daunting for individuals, especially at the beginning when they're trying, when you even said you were like, I dabbled into it. Um, but it's like, it doesn't have to be that way for the rest of your life. I don't want it to be that way for the rest of your life, but you are prime example of the fact that you wake up every day, you plan all your things in advance. You know, the structure of how your day is going to go. You've implemented the system. And if you've implemented the systems, you got better at the systems, you're going to eventually get to the goals that you have. And now, you know, you're, you're on your way. You're, you're experiencing all these transformations. Now you have another new goal, which is, uh, intuitively eating and all the things you just

27:48mentioned, having a crumble cookie, just sit there and you're not even faced by it. Just sitting there. That is so freaking powerful. Wow. My, my other big win with warrior babe is the fact that I was like, I've been just chronically stressed for years, chronically stressed. And a few weeks ago, I was just sitting at my desk and I was like, I don't feel like I'm going to have a heart attack and die right now. Like I'm not stressed out. I am not stressed out. And I know it's the movement, but I also know it's what I learned from the, the blood

28:23tests that we did, the blood work. Cause every issue I was dealing with, they're like, you, you might need magnesium. You might need magnesium. And so I got myself some magnesium and it's just really helped me. Oh my gosh. So you did equal lives. Yes. Equal lives. That was amazing. Do you care sharing any type of the things that came back? Are you comfortable doing that? You know, um, I, I meant to have it with me right here, but I was too busy. I'm nervously applying my makeup into 15 different layers.

28:55Putting on all of your warrior babe swag. All the gear and coordinating the look that I shouldn't bring my equal. I, cause I had it. I know exactly where it is. Magnesium thinking that your cortisol probably was. Oh, my cortisol was stupid high. Like you would like, did it, did you have a curve? What were you flatlined? Like, or were you? Only time it was optimal was at noon. And the rest, I, I, I wake up wired. I'm wired all day. I go to bed wired. Like, so you have the curve coming back up at the end at night.

29:27It was just high. Like, they're like, this is like double what it should be. Like for the overall average, like it was stupid high. And, and just all the, all the issues. And, and everything that said magnesium, magnesium, magnesium, and then just doing my own research and looking at things. I'm like, let's try magnesium. Heck yeah. I take magnesium every single night. I take two of the pure brand and it helps dramatically.

29:58Oh yeah. Yeah. And I know it's because, um, I balanced, I feel like my hormones are balanced. My period has come back. No way. I was going to ask you that next year. You said you're returning 54, right? No, I'm going to be 53. 53. Yeah. Uh, you're, uh, so you went without a period. I went like, I'd never gone the full year. So I was not officially menopausal. Right. But I'd gone like several months and then I'd have one and several months and have another

30:31one. And so now that I've been like working with coach Holly and in the program, um, it's now back to regular, but it's not normal. It's not like what I was when I was in my thirties. Right. It's like, you wouldn't expect it to be, but it's, you know, it's nothing like that every month. Huh? It's still showing his face kind of like, yeah. With, uh, with cramps. Yeah. And that's it. And I'm like, what is this? This is stupid. And I like this last one, I actually needed a tampon.

31:01I haven't had to use a tampon for like 18 months for just one day. And I, my ears, I told Holly, I'm like, I said, um, Dr. Holly, uh, this is dumb. There's some point that like, I've talked to women where they're like, I'm so thankful. I don't have a period anymore. Cause I'm like, all these things that you're saying is just stupid. And like, I totally agree with it. It's stupid, but yeah. And she was so amazing though. She was like, it means your body is operating as the way it's supposed to.

31:33And you're going to be able to lose even like more fat. I think it's your body's just, and I'm like, okay, we'll just hold on longer. And I, and I know that, that the longer you get to hold onto it, I mean, the healthier your body is. And so I'm not going to bitch and moan about it too much, but there's a little bit, there's a little bit of vision. A little bit of vision. We'll just a tad bit. You're going to be a late menopause bloomer, which is so good. Yeah. And so this is what I was going to ask you, like, if you've experienced any of those symptoms, so we're already kind of there.

32:04Yeah. You're, you're leading yourself into menopause so much stronger than you being 270 pounds. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. Oh my God. Like in that, there just tack some more years to your life. Mm-hmm. I can't wait to, Carrie Craft is like 90, 95 years old, just rocking it. Just rocking it out. Yeah. That's, that's, that's, that's the goal. I told, I told Coach Holly, I'm like, I'd like to be like 110, but like healthy, like,

32:37like, you know, a strong 110. Now, now I know it doesn't matter because everyone's so individual, but how much food are you eating now? Oh man. Let me look at my app because. Yeah. I'm curious. Like I know, and everyone listening, please don't like run off this podcast and go to My Fitness Pal and copy Carrie's macros. Everybody is so individually different. I'm so curious. My calories right now are 18, 18.

33:09So. Okay. 1818. Yeah. What's your protein, fat and carb look like? My protein is 150. Nice. My fat is 62. Nice. And my carb is 165. Let's go. It's music to my ears. Yeah. 1800 calories and you're losing weight. Yes. I'm losing weight. Do you have to eat 1100 calories to 1000 calories? I've been there. I've been there. Incredible. Did not work. Yeah. Did not work. Were you eating that much?

33:40How much do you think you were eating prior? Besides, I mean, granted, you were, you were definitely throwing yourselves into calorie surplus with the emotional eating, but would you be one of those persons that was like, oh, emotionally eat. And then I wouldn't eat the next day. I didn't ever go into the not eating the next day, but I probably did punish myself with food. I rewarded myself with food and I punished myself with food. I celebrate with food. I mourn with food. Everything is food.

34:11I don't know. You have that breakthrough. That's incredible. Yeah. It's okay that that keeps happening. It happens to me all the times when I'm in meetings. I don't know how to, I thought I took, I'm so sorry. It's okay. No worries at all. It makes it very authentic. I'm going to keep it in. So of all of the things, I mean, you shared so many amazing breakthroughs. What would you say that you're the most proud of since beginning your fitness journey?

34:41With Warrior Babe. With Warrior Babe. Staying consistent. I am not a very self, like I know what my strengths are and self-discipline is not in the top 15. And so just being consistent, prioritizing my health, prioritizing my spiritual health, prioritizing me, you know? And so I'm very proud of that. I'm very proud of the breakthroughs I've made. And not just emotional eating, but in just my mind, my mindset shift.

35:17Is you got to have the right mindset. If you don't have the right mindset to do this. Amen. You know? Amen. We, we say it like the coaches, myself, the whole team at Warrior Babe is like, it's not just about the macros and the workouts. You can go find the macros and the workouts anywhere online. Any fitness program, any fitness coach is going to give you a macro and a workout plan to follow. What I pride myself and our coaches and the whole Warrior Babe team on and what we've built is we understand that all of the women coming through to our community needs some type of behavioral shift.

35:51And that comes down to the mindset of which one has. And I'm, and I've, I've lost weight before. I've been over, I've been under 200 pounds before, but for like a hot minute, you know, like a hot minute. Because then I just start stressing. And I brought this to Coach Holly because I'm right there. I said, who am I if I'm not the fat one? Because I have, I have little sisters. They're not overweight. Who am I if I'm not the fat one?

36:22Wait, that's so much to unpack. And you can do it. Yeah. And, and I'm like, I don't know who I am. And then I'm starting to get attention, like to draw attention from men. And I, what do I do with that? I'm like, who am I? And Coach Holly, I don't know if you know her very well, but she does not cuss. And she was awesome. And she's like, who are you? You are Keri Kraft and you are a badass. I can see Coach Holly doing that right now.

36:54You're a badass. I'm like, you know, I think it was, I've had some emotional moments with Coach Holly. Just keep adding on to, you know, your, your breakthrough is here. I think that one is really, really, if you don't mind going down that avenue. So many people don't know what the success looks like on the other end. They're afraid to meet that person. They're afraid to, you know, accomplish losing a hundred pounds and more. Sure. And yeah. And I've had, I had one of my good friends.

37:25I noticed her being distant from, with me and a couple of weeks went by and then she approached me and she's in, I think she might've sent me a message and she's like, I'm so sorry. And, um, because she, she's overweight. She's like, I see your success and it's making, like, it's making me uncomfortable. And she's like, it's not you. It's me. I'm working through it and we're good. We're good now. But I, that still goes to my, my mind. Like, I don't want anybody to feel bad because I'm being successful, but I don't want to

37:59not be successful for others to be okay. So it's. Balancing that for sure. And what you just said prior was you had, you're prioritizing yourself as one of the most, the things that you're most proud of for, for since the beginning of your journey and you had to prioritize yourself in those situations. So people though, that are afraid of success, how would you not, how did you navigate that? Like, I'm sure. Did you ever have those thoughts too? Like being afraid of like, what, what does it look like to me? Like you just said it, like, who am I? Yeah. So how do you navigate that?

38:30I'm, you know what? I'm still, I think that's where I'm at in the journey right now because I'm, I'm 207. I haven't gotten to the Wonderville wonderland yet. You're so close. You know, so I'm very close. I'm right there, but I'm not there yet. And I feel like that's probably tearful conversations I'm going to be having with my coach. And I'm glad I have her for that because in the past, I just get in my head. I've done this to myself before where I've like, I came back from a vacation.

39:03I was very mindful about my eating and I was at 195 and I thought, oh, you're going to be successful. And so what did I do? I purposely quit my program and gained it all back. Oh, I've done this before. I've done this before. So I'm glad I have coach because coach Holly's not going to settle for that. Yeah. Coach Holly will put you in your place. Yes. Shout out coach Holly. I know when I got assigned her, the first thing I did was internet stalker and I found her.

39:37Is she a bad person? I saw her picture. I'm like, oh, she's going to hurt me. And I showed it to my sisters and they're like, we pray for you. Like, good luck. You know, like she's going to kick my ass. Yeah, I know. She comes into meetings and she's always in typically a tank top. And I'm like, can you put the guns away, please? Like they're just huge. Her abs have abs. Like she's like a beast, but she is the sweetest person ever.

40:09She truly, I feel like she truly does care about me and about everyone she's working with. And, um, and I love her accent. She's got the best Southern accent ever. She does. She totally does. Oh, wow. This has been so amazing. What would you tell somebody who is watching this right now? There's, well, we hit like 500,000 downloads on this podcast. So there's, there's like 3,000, 4,000 per episode. So somebody here ain't doing something to move forward on their journey.

40:40What would you tell somebody right now that's unsure about taking the next step specifically with warrior, babe? You and your health are worth the investment. Of both the time and the, and the finances. And that's one thing I did the math on. Like when I got the, you know, what it's going to be to be a VIP member. And I did the math and I'm like, that's a car payment. Am I worth a car payment? Yes. Yes. Oh, I am worth a car payment.

41:11Let's go carry. I think that's the best answer that I've ever freaking heard. That's incredible. Hey, thank you so freaking much for sharing your story and being vulnerable and aspects. I know it's going to resonate with the listeners that are listening to this right now. And the successes that you've experienced, ah, and there's still, this is just to be like, you're just halfway through right now. I know I'm at month five. I am so excited. Like what, where am I going to be in a year at the year mark? I'm so excited. And I've let coach Holly know my ultimate goals and we're going to work for those.

41:46What is the ultimate goal? Okay. I told her, I said, even if I can just maintain them for five minutes, I want abs. Like just for five, like even if it's just for a photo shoot and then I'm going to have some Pringles and Oreos just, just for the, we'll make the first goal to five minutes, but then, then the future goal will be longer than five minutes. I'm just like, I just want to be cut. Like, you know, I just want to be cut, do like a hot photo shoot.

42:18And then, you know, but I, I'm so, it's so fun. Like I do some movements and I'm like, that's a back muscle. Like I felt that engage. You're starting to see your upper core come in from your, and we'll have the. Thank you. Well, and I'm getting some definition right in here. Top down, baby. Start top down. You're going to see it all. Like I'm sure you see in your face. And then you're just going to. I did a lot of, cause I'm in zoom a lot. And everybody's like, we see it in your face, you know, but I, I've been loving talking with women

42:50about, you know, like when they're talking about their journey, I'm like, okay, go walk, go drink more water. Like I'm trying to, and my sisters and their journey. I'm like, you need to up that protein. You are not eating enough protein. That's what I'm talking about, Carrie. I love it. Well, thank you so much for, for sharing your story, for kicking ass in your journey. Thank you so much. And for inspiring others. It's amazing. So thank you for your time. Thank you.
