Full transcript

00:00I completed a full-on Olympic leg triathlon. I saw no difference in my body. None of that post-pregnancy bulge went away. Nothing happened. And then hit 40. I'm not even just like maintaining it. I'm actually getting bigger. It was kind of like putting some of these pieces together is what led up to feeling like, okay, I think I need help. Yeah. But WarriorBabe was one of those that kept popping up. My weight is down maybe five pounds, but inches off my waist. I would say even within that first week, I felt different on being there for my kids, for the responsibilities that I have. It was like my body was just saying, thank you.

00:35What's going on, everybody? Hey, you guys. So I have another WarriorBabe here with us, and I'm so excited to dive into her story. Nicole was working out six days a week. She was eating less, she was skipping meals, and she was watching her body get bigger. And at 40 years old with five kids and no time to waste, she thought that maybe this was just how life was after 40 and how it was supposed to be. But she wasn't ready to give up. And I love that mentality. In just five months with WarriorBabe, Nicole's seen more progress than years and years of pushing herself. And the best part is she's doing less and she's getting more. So let's dive into her story. Nicole, welcome.

01:26Thank you. So let's dive into where you were before you found WarriorBabe. What was your situation like? And what were you struggling with both physically and mentally? It was kind of a process that started, I mean, so many years ago. It's like other women can relate to this, but it was almost like every five years, you just kind of feel something is different and something changes. It's like, oh, my metabolism is slowing down. I can't eat quite as much. And then, of course, you throw in having kids in there and you're just, you have no idea what your body's doing. So I just had been watching for so many years, just this like, oh, I guess I need to, you know, watch what I'm eating a little bit more or can't quite eat that or, oh, had this other baby.

02:06And I guess I'm just not going to bounce back to what I was before. It's okay. That extra five pounds, it's going to be fine. I'll just, I'll accept it. I'll live with it. I can still do all the things that I love to do. I love being active, swimming, riding my bike, hiking, all those kinds of things. It's fine until it's not. And I got to a point after, you know, I'd had the last baby. I was like, there are no more babies coming. And so I know I'm not going to be at least riding that wave anymore. The changes weren't stopping. Now my youngest is five years old and it's like, oh, I'm five more pounds heavier.

02:39Again, do I, do I just have to accept that? I, it wasn't like I was necessarily at an unhealthy weight, but you just start like, do I have to buy clothes again? You know, for everything I've bought so many rounds of clothes. I really don't want to just keep doing that. At what point am I not going to be able to do all of these things that I love doing anymore? If I just keep saying, okay, this five pounds is okay. And okay. So I'm at 40, but does that mean that at 45, there's going to be another five pounds. And I just, it was like looking more into the future and seeing how this is going to continue to affect my ability to just do the things that I loved to keep up with my kids.

03:16You know, I still have this somewhat young family and we like to travel and do things together. And I want to be able to hike with them. I want to carry my daughter if her feet are hurting or give her a piggyback ride or carry the backpack, go backpacking. And so I just kind of got to that point where I was like, I'm not, I'm not going to accept this anymore, that this is how it's going to have to be because otherwise my joy and my life is going to be taken from me long before I'm ready for it to be. Man. I love that. What a way to open this up. How many, you have five kids. Five kids. My oldest is 18 and my youngest just turned six.

03:50Okay. Super mom. Holy cow. That's awesome. I love that. And I love that we prefaced like that you, we've had kids, the moms listening or the women listening. Like can resonate with the fact like, yeah, I know what she's saying, like the five pounds, but it was more so like what it felt like physically. And then you were like looking out into the future. Like, am I just going to keep gaining this weight? I don't want to keep gaining this weight because it's going to affect the way that I raise my family and the way that I show up for my kids. In the, like the little bio that I gathered from you, you mentioned that you were working out constantly. You were doing like six days a week, sometimes up to like 90 minutes, yet your body wasn't, it still wasn't changing.

04:29So like, what were you doing and what did that feel like when you weren't getting the results you thought you wanted? Well, that was kind of my, you know, through all those years, like I say, in every five year increment where you're like, oh, well, my body's not responding the same way. I went from really not doing anything after my first two kids were born and just kind of having my body pretty much go back to what was fine to number three was born. At that point, I was like 28 and kind of getting to about nine months after her birth and being like, oh, I guess my body's not just going to do this on its own. I'm going to put some work forth. So my husband was a runner. He had tried really hard to get me into running for a long time.

05:01I wanted nothing to do with it. But at this point, I was motivated, found some shoes that I liked, helped me get going. So that was kind of the first thing, like got into running. You know, the way that mentality is I'll do a 5K, I'll do a 10K, I'll do a half marathon, I'll do a marathon and could kind of see results that way. But kind of like right before my first marathon, kid number four was born. I ended up even training for a triathlon at that point in time thinking, oh, that'll really help me, you know, right after he's born, kind of get back into shape. And nothing happened. I completed a full on Olympic length triathlon. And I saw no difference in my body, no difference in the clothes that I was wearing.

05:39None of that pregnancy, post-pregnancy bulge went away. So I was just like, okay, well, I guess maybe I just have to do more. So that was the point in time that I don't even remember where it came from. But these ideas of like, well, maybe try lifting weights. That's something you really haven't done. Might have been my sister-in-law. Somebody was kind of talking about, you know, my running has been so much improved because I started lifting weights. I was like, okay, well, I'll try that. So this is a little bit after turning 30. That helped for a little bit. Okay, I'm lifting weights now. I'm starting to see some changes. This is great. And then hit 35. And had another baby.

06:13Oh, man. And it was just like, okay, well, the weightlifting is not doing anything. The cardio that I'm doing is not doing anything. So maybe I just need to do more. Because part of it was I love food. I love food. I love baked goods. I love making things from scratch. So I was like, I don't want to restrict my eating. That's no fun. You know, food should be joy and all the things. So if I just work harder, then it'll be fine. Right? I'll just keep going. And that worked for maybe, I don't think even a year where it was like, I was kind of starting to see some results. And then again, it was just like nothing just kind of plateaued and then hit 40. And it was like, now I'm actually putting on weight. I'm not even just keeping things like maintaining it. I'm actually getting bigger.

07:02So then you you add in now I've been working so hard, I would do like a probably 40 minute strength training. And then I would go for 30 to 40 minutes of a run. Or I would go to the pool in the mornings and swim for almost an hour. And then I would still come home and do another like 30 minutes doing weights or something. You just get to what we're like now seeing weight actually and not just weight, because weight has always been one of these things where I'm like, it's a number. It's really about I want to feel good. I want to, again, be able to do the things I want to do. I want to enjoy the activities and more so like how are my clothes fitting. But that's kind of the problem is when you start feeling the waist is getting bigger, and the legs are tighter in your jeans. Just like what is happening? I am working so hard. Yeah. Why am I seeing it go absolutely in the opposite direction?

07:50Yeah. How did that feel? You're putting in all that work. It was so aggravating. And you just feel like I can't possibly be doing it wrong. I mean, because I'm doing all these good things for myself. And yet clearly all the results are saying I'm doing something wrong. Yeah, yeah. But I got to the point where I'm busy. I got all these kids. We got these activities. I started homeschooling kids. I teach piano lessons. There's so much going on. I could not put any more into exercise. Like I just finally came to the point where it was like, I cannot spend any more time on fitness. So maybe it's time to start looking at my eating. And it's not that I ever ate just junk. Like I say, most of my stuff actually was homemade. I cook from scratch. I do. But I do love my treats.

08:37So I kind of started like, well, maybe let me start playing around with some of this just a little bit and pay more attention to what I'm eating and just see what that's looking like. So I did start tracking macros just with, I don't even remember what app it was for just a little bit to kind of give myself an idea. And I was kind of surprised. Say more, say more. I was surprised at how much, even in these things that were my homemade goods, you know, my homemade pasta and all the things had a lot of stuff that was not great. I mean, the fat content was so high.

09:14Mm hmm. The butters and oils caught up, right? Exactly. Cheese. Cheese is delicious. It was kind of like putting some of these pieces together is what led up to feeling like, OK, I think I need help. Yeah. I like doing research. I don't have a problem reading things and figuring things out. And that's really how I'd even gotten myself to that point was listening and reading and paying attention. But really kind of being like, hey, I don't think I've got this. I don't have the expertise here. I need more support.

09:45And that's where you did mention that you tried doing yourself first. That was where you started tracking the macros. Yeah. And that's what made you realize like this free or tracking macros like alone isn't working. So at that point, how did you come across Warrior Babe? Like what stood out to you the most? First, how did you come across it? And then what resonated with you? So again, thinking, OK, I need some kind of help to figure this out because now I can see what I'm eating. But but now how do I change that? I do love food. I don't want to just just restrict. That felt like an awful idea. So what are all the ideas?

10:16What are all the ways that I could go about doing this? And so I just start, you know, when you start Googling diets for women over 40 and there were like perimenopause symptoms that were starting to come in there, too. So then you're like, OK, so diets for perimenopause, like losing weight, women over 40 and you just start putting those things in. Well, then ads start coming at you. So I was getting ads for all kinds of things. And I was hesitant to click on any of them because I was going to have to pay money. Like, yeah, I don't want to spend money.

10:47But warrior babe was one of those that kept popping up. The initial thing that really stood out to me was actually the women's bodies that I was seeing were like, that's it. That's what I want to be. I don't care about being skinny, honest. I mean, we all care about being skinny, but in the the big picture here, I don't. I want to be strong. I want to do all of my things. And so I was looking at these strong women going, yes, that's that's it. And then you hear things like you're going to eat more.

11:19And I thought, well, say less. I'm in. Let's eat, guys. Let's eat. Say less. So I finally clicked on it one day on one of these ads and followed through and read through all this stuff. And when it sounds too good to be true. I mean, this is that I could exercise less, that I could eat more and I could have these results that I'm seeing all these other women. Can it really be possible? And it took me even still thinking about it to even then say, OK, well, sign up for a consultation.

11:53We'll just we'll just talk to someone. That was kind of how that was what brought me in. That was kind of the process. We kind of said, like, I could eat more. I could do things less. Like, that's what made it feel like this could be different. Yeah. Yeah. And that it could be doable. If I was going to be asked to spend any more time. I mean, I don't go to the gym. And that was one of the things I've always done, too, is done it at home because I can save myself that time having to drive there and back. Sure. So, I mean, it was so much about time. Like, so you were hesitant about that investment. Oh, for sure. That, that, that was shifted in your mindset.

12:25That helped you, like, say yes, like to yourself and to go all in with that. But that first kind of call where you really get all the information of, like, this is what it looks like. This is what you're going to do. I came away from it and just said, okay, I've got to talk to my husband about this because this is going to be an investment for, for both of us, for our whole family. I wanted it. It felt like something that was going to be right for me. So, I wanted to talk to him. And as we talked together and I just, I saw there was going to be an element of being able to get hormone, information on my hormones.

12:57There was going to be the ability to actually work with not just somebody who knew fitness, but somebody who really knew nutrition. And not just that, but somebody specifically for somebody my age and in my stage of life. And I just thought, you know, I could go see four different people, four different professionals and spend my time making those appointments and driving to those appointments and getting that information and having them try and communicate together to put together this picture of helping me with my health for the rest of my life. Or I can go to this one place and while I'm doing it, have an entire community of people around me that are also doing it.

13:34And that just, it kind of became an obvious, like, we have to do this. This is an investment in our future in really no other way. I mean, I'd never seen that in any other kind of offering before. And it just, it was so the whole picture that we're like, yep, we're going to do it. And we're not even can consider it a cost. This is an investment. And we're going to, we're all going to reap the benefits from it. That's beautiful. I love that mindset shift. And I'm going to put a pin there and pick your brain on in a little bit how that has trickle affected, like positively in your whole family.

14:06I will circle back to that. I want to ask, like, once you did make the investment, what did it look like in like the first couple of weeks? Like, you know, talking to the team, talking to your coach, like getting the plan. How did that all feel? What did that look like for you? There was, of course, that little bit of trepidation. Like, okay, are we starting something new, new people? But I have to say the matching with my coach could not have been more perfect. It was like, there's got to be a psychologist in there too. That's looking at people's information and matching with coaches because it was so great.

14:40Sarah's entire, just her approach to life, her experience as a mom, her expertise in her field. I mean, it was just everything that I needed. I mean, so that was the very first thing was being able to talk to her. I was like, I'm home. I'm in the right place. And so from there, of course, there was, there's a learning curve and figuring out the technology. My fitness pal, just figuring out that kind of stuff, figuring out what are the foods that are going to work for me. But even there to have, you know, your coach give you tips of like, hey, use AI to help you come up with some meals here.

15:13Let me give you, here's some ideas of things that I use. And she was able to look at the tracking that I had already done and be able to see, oh, I can kind of see the types of stuff that you gravitate towards. She knew right off the bat. So I have two daughters that have celiac disease. So she knew right off the bat gluten-free was going to be a thing and just kind of the way I cook. So all of these gluten-free suggestions just already came. And so having that support that I could kind of then build off of and make my own and having my coach and team members that I could ask questions to, again, it still took time.

15:45It took intention. It took purpose and decision of like, I'm going to do this. But I was not alone. I mean, so it was just when it got to the point, you're like, ah, I just don't know. I had somewhere, there was always that answer of like, ask your coach. Try AI. Look at the sample stuff that she sent you and just pick one of those. And you just kind of build off of it. And before long, it's just, this is just what I do. This is how I eat. And the biggest thing was, I mean, so quickly, I would say even within that first week, I felt different.

16:16It was like my body was just saying, thank you. We've been waiting. Thank you for feeding me. Thank you for fueling. Thank you for slowing down and taking it back a notch with your training. No, I love all that. And yeah, shout out to Sarah. You're a rock star of a coach. Quick break. If you're finding this episode helpful so far, it would mean a lot if you could hit pause for just a second, leave a quick rating or a review or share it with someone who could benefit from it.

16:46Your support helps more women discover these tools to build muscle, lose fat and feel confident. Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with me. Yeah. Diving into what you mentioned, because I'm curious about this because you said you love to make everything from scratch. How has like a lot of women could resonate with this. Women feel like they have to involve every ingredient, every spice and every type of thing into their macros. And it can be a little overwhelming for women where they love to cook like you, but then they have to also track the macros. Can you shed light on like what that, how your cooking was before and how you've integrated it now into Warrior Babe?

17:22Sure. This is one of the like blessings in disguise that I don't think I was anticipating, but my cooking has actually become a lot easier. And so again, this whole, I'm saving time, I'm not working out quite so much and I'm saving time because my meals are still satisfying and delicious. And I know that they're, they're good for me and they take less time. And so much of it is that the intricate sauces and all of that kind of stuff, I probably do less, but it's not that I don't do it at all. It's so that I get to save them for the days.

17:53Okay. This is going to work and this is going to fit in. So yeah, I just put my favorite recipes right into my fitness pal so that when I make that thing, I just pull it right up and put it in there. It's not that hard to do. And I can still have those on a very regular basis, but I'm not going to have them three meals a day. Yeah. And that's okay because I feel better. I don't even notice it. And I mean, there's so many things, even the baked goods that I loved so much. That was another one of the, I don't even remember, I guess when it came about, but realizing I don't have cravings for cookies anymore and brownies anymore on like a daily basis.

18:31I can still have them. In fact, it's kind of a family tradition. We have Sunday dessert. I still have Sunday dessert. I still make it and I still have it. And I still meet all of my goals, but I don't need it. The craving is not there. And it's amazing. I never thought I could say that. Right. It's not wild. I can totally relate to you there. Like, you know, for many women say that they were under fueling their body, you know, weren't eating a lot of protein in the beginning. And then they started to feel their body appropriately, which prior to that, like when you're not feeling your body appropriately, you have all types of cravings.

19:05And you're wondering why you have all these types of cravings. And you're meeting it because you think you have a sweet tooth, but really it's just not. Your body's not getting the nutrients that it needs to make you feel full. And then you go into that world of feeling your body appropriately and you're like, wow, it's not wild. I don't have that many cravings anymore. Like I too had a sweet tooth when I first started my journey. And it's like, it's no longer there anymore, which is just like crazy. Cause it's like, well, I'm feeling my body the way it wants to be feel. It doesn't really want the sugar. Exactly. Yeah. But a craving person is like the sweet tooth is always there. Right. So it's like, we can have it just like you're saying in balance on a Sunday night.

19:38I love that. One thing that too was, uh, you mentioned you work out from home. That's what I heard. Yeah. That's been saving you time too. How has your coach helped integrate your workout routine for you being at home? I mean, right from the get go, she wanted to know what does all the equipment that's available to me and you know, what did I already have? So I just sent her a list and then all the exercises that she sends me use just my dumbbells and the bands that I have. What's funny is that, I mean, I love it so much now and seeing the results of how much

20:10heavier I'm lifting after just these five months versus five years of trying to push myself that we just on Saturday cleaned out our garage to make room for like a cables machine that we're going to put in because I'm like, no, I'm committed. This is my life now we're doing this. So let's get more. So I'm still not going to go to the gym, but I'm going to, I'm, I'm growing my home gym. Yeah. I love that. What better way to wait? Like when, when you work out, just be able to walk into your workout room and work out rather than getting in the car, driving to the gym.

20:42Like that's awesome. That's so cool. So where are you now in your journey? Like where let's talk about results. Let's talk about some of your biggest wins. What are you accomplishing these five months? What's funny is again, so this weight idea of being just this number, my weight is down maybe five pounds. And of course that's going to fluctuate, right? You know, so I would say three to four even is probably more accurate, but inches off my waist. And I just had, I teach an early morning class to high schoolers and I just had one of the

21:12girls say to me this morning, Hey, your triceps are popping. And that's the first time I have never had anyone comment ever before on how good I have. I was like trying so hard to not, you know, be cool. They're all high schoolers. Yeah. Thanks. I've been working on it, but I was feeling so good. Oh, that's awesome. What would you consider your biggest win so far? Ladies, are you feeling frustrated with body changes you're experiencing during menopause?

That's warriorbabe.com forward slash apply. All right, let's get back to the show. Oh, this is again, the funny part is I think we go into these things thinking it's about something that we want to look like, right? And yet my biggest wins, the things that have changed my life are very, I can't remember what

22:55I used a word for it. They're not very fancy or I am so grateful for my stress level being so much better managed and that has come so much through sleep. Girl, I'll take that as fancy any day. Like, yeah, it's not luxurious. It's not, it's so basic, but I can't even tell you the difference that it makes every day on being there for my kids and for the responsibilities that I have to just not be

23:25exhausted. And I mean, I've learned so much of just having to be aware and watching certain things about my stress level and when I'm feeling certain things at certain times. And then being able to go into a mindset or use a few supplements to help me out with that. And all of that has come through my coach of being able to share, okay, this is what's going on, you know, because you go in and you have these goals of like, okay, seven to eight hours of sleep. And it's like, well, I'm having struggle going to sleep. I'm having struggle staying asleep and just talking about that. And then having these suggestions and you get to work on it and something works really

23:58well. So then you express the next thing that's going on and then you get another suggestion. And it's just been this beautiful just climb of everything getting better and better. One of the other things is pelvic floor. I have so much more bladder control. Again, I know that that's probably not one of those things that everybody's thinking. Girl, after five kids and anybody that's listening to this that has five kids or even four kids or maybe even three. Like, I'm sure like, yes, I hear you and I feel you. It's wonderful. It's so freeing. I bet you're not jumping around feeling good to pee yourself, right?

24:31Exactly. No, I love that. And your energy is increasing too. You mentioned. Oh, yes. It's I would always have this slump right at the point in time where it's like time to start driving kids around to their activities. And so I'm in the car and desperately trying to be a safe driver. I don't have that issue anymore. I'm alert. I'm there. We can have conversations. So I mean, the connection with my kids while they're with me in the car, I'm there. I'm present. But and then the great thing is, is then when it's time, it's time to go to bed. And now I'm tired and it's time to go to bed and let's go to bed and I invite it and

25:04I welcome up. I was listening to one of The WarriorBabe Show podcasts just the other day and you were talking about self-care and you talked about so much using productivity, actually like go, go, go, go, go. And I'm being productive. And that's kind of more of the excuse of like, I don't I don't need to. That was me. 100%. I have all the reasons in the world to never stop because all these good things, all these great things that I'm doing and it catches up to you. 1000%. It totally does. And now you feel OK, which is like slowing down, giving yourself the self-care, the rest

25:36that you need so that you can go back and be more efficient in your productivity. Yes. Yes. Love that. What does it feel like now that you're finally your body's working with you instead of against you? Yeah. It's funny how the priorities kind of change just a little bit, I guess. And freedom. There's so much more freedom. There's not a question of I mean, we know that life can always throw things at us. You never know. There can be accidents. There can be sickness. There can be all these things. But I just get to look to a future of I know what feeding my family looks like.

26:07I know what feeding myself looks like. I know what time it takes to take care of myself. I can see it for years and years to come. And I've got this like I can make any of that work and come together because I have the plan. I have the vision. It's long term. And that's the beautiful part. One of the things I think hearing the warrior babe adds of like that this is a lifestyle. And I thought, OK, well, so then it has to be something that's sustainable. It cannot be one of these crazy things where you're going to cut out one thing for the

26:37rest of your life because that's not going to work for me. Yeah. And it's true. Everything that warrior babe advertised to me is absolutely true. This is something I can do forever. It's this awesome thing to look at what's happened in five months and to say, I see the women in their 70s that are warrior babes. I'm going to be one of them. Yeah. And I'm looking at that going. So let's look at 30 years from now. I'm so excited. Like this. This is a beautiful life. And I'm I'm just excited to live it. Oh, I can feel your energy through this, like through the computer.

27:09I love that. This is so beautiful. And I love that you're thinking that way because, you know, you're thinking about your, you know, yourself and where you're going to be in 30 years. But also, which I want to kind of dive into this last bucket was you mentioning that your family has transformed alongside you. What has it meant to like see like your husband and your daughters thrive in this too? As a mom, there's plenty to worry about. There's there's never not going to be anything to worry about. But I'm just going back to the five kids like kids like that's superpowers.

27:42Seriously. It takes a little element of insanity. I'm I'll claim it. It's all right, though. It's I chose it. Yes. I hear you. I want upwards of that number, too. So like you're my inspiration right now. I will support and, you know, the good times and the bad. Just just let me know. Yeah. But it's when you can find one thing that you're like, I don't have to worry about that. It's so great.

28:12So my my oldest daughter has always struggled from the very minute she had her first period. The very first day of her period is like she cannot function. She is curled up in the fetal position crying. And, you know, we saw doctors and the suggestion was, well, as soon as she has any sign that she's starting, take the ibuprofen. You take, you know, three every three hours for three days, basically. So that's what she's been doing for years. Sometimes it works great. Sometimes she can't catch it early enough.

28:43And she is out for a solid day in just excruciating pain. Well, the very first change that happened with our nutrition was the protein. Like I was so low in protein because pasta and carbs and homemade breads are so good. When you said that at the beginning, I was like, I know she did not get protein. Nope, not. I mean, I literally was the person that was like, I don't really need protein. I mean, it's I don't really crave it. It just doesn't sound good. So go leave the meat out of the pasta sauce.

29:16Who needs meat in the pasta sauce? Oh, girl. What? That's crazy. That was me. That was me. I now eat 135 grams of protein. Hey. Love it. Amazing. Love it. But my daughter, so that was the first thing. It was like now there were just more options in the house because I was doing it. So there's a protein shake. Oh, there's a protein bar. Oh, there's meat that's left over now from dinner. And so she just kind of herself started having more protein.

29:46It wasn't even like I had to tell her to do it. She just started. And probably about a month and a half after I started Warrior Babe, she had a period. And no ibuprofen, no pain. It was lighter. Usually her periods would go for seven to eight days. It was shorter. She had a five-day period with no pain. And that has stayed. Every period since has been the same way. I'm shocked. I'm shook. I'm shocked. For those of you guys that aren't watching this on audio or just watching it on audio,

30:18my jaw was just dropped staring at it. Nicole, that's amazing. Like I said, that's one of those things that just to not have to see my daughter go through that every month is like, and that's her life. She gets to take that for the rest of her life now. I mean, I just, I'm so grateful. That's amazing. That is amazing. I'm sure there's such a weight lifted off your shoulders and you don't have to watch your baby roll like in pain anymore, you know? Now she's feeling her body the way her body wants to be fueled. And what a result to experience.

30:50And now at a young age too, like you said, she can carry it through the rest of her life. That's incredible. And how about hubby? Hubby is in it too. Hubby is working out. Yeah. So, I mean, of course, as is the case, he's lost 15 pounds. You see, men can just like look at food and lose weight though. Like that's like, that's just unfair. Yeah, exactly. But same thing for him. Like he was just as bad, if not more so than me, as far as the suites go and that's all gone. Yeah. He's lifting with me and just as excited about this idea of, yeah, let's get some equipment so we can keep going and keep going harder.

31:22And the other fun thing about it is, you know, so we used to go for runs together, but I love going for walks together. Now we can talk, we can chat. It's, it's this connection time and supporting each other and our goals. I mean, just that has been great for our relationship too. That's awesome. That's incredible. So as we wind down this interview with you in this chat, which thank you for sharing your story. I know that a lot of you are going to resonate with where you're at, even if they, you know, just many points of your story, whether they're a mom or they were a runner or, you know, they are 40 or they were experiencing these things in their thirties.

31:55So many bits of your story, very inspiring. And I want you to just like end this with, if somebody is watching this right now and they're listening to your story, maybe it's in the same spot that you were in. What would you want them to know about warrior baby, about your journey specifically? Just what would you want them to know? If there's anything that you think is going to be hard, it's not harder than anything else that you've already done and that you've already tried and that you've already been through. I mean, life is such that there's always things that we have to deal with.

32:25So sometimes you have to pick your hard, pick the warrior babe hard, because it is so much more fulfilling, not just from a perspective of your body and your strength. All those things are awesome to see. And they're going to happen. If you do what your coach says, it's going to happen. That's such a wonderful, you know, you don't have to guess anymore and you don't have to follow all the hundreds of voices out there that are going to tell you a million different things. Listen to the one voice and you will find the results will happen. But there will be so much beyond any of that, that you didn't even anticipate that will make

33:00every effort that you put toward it, everything that feels like a sacrifice initially, it will be worth it. So do it. And yeah, buckle down and dig down that strength and find the support that you need and reach out to people when it doesn't go perfectly. It's okay because this isn't a program about perfection. Yes. But do it. It's worth it. That's awesome, Nicole. Thank you. It's so well said. For everyone that's listening to this, you know, Nicole's story shows you what's possible when you stop running yourself into the ground, literally.

33:31Like that's pretty much, you know, you're running, doing all these things, extra things, not eating enough. And it shows that once you start fueling and lifting and living with intention, like she's proof that, you know, it's not about doing more. It's about doing the right things. It's about doing what's right for her body. And same for you guys that are listening. And now, you know, as you heard, Nicole's entire family is reaping the benefits. If you're in your 40s and you think you've tried it all, Nicole's journey is just a reminder. It's not too late to change your life.
