00:00Real quick, the only ask I could ever have of you guys is to help spread the word so we can help more women lose body fat, build muscle, reach their goals, and feel insanely confident. And the only way we can do that is if you rate, review, and share this podcast. So the single thing I ask for you to do is if you could leave a review. It will take you 10 seconds, and it will mean the absolute world to me and may change the world of someone else. When you focus on gratitude and fitness and like a physical well-being, it boosts motivation for you to actually do the things that you want to do and should do that are going to get you the results you want, like working out and eating right. It fosters a positive outlook on the physical challenges that you may encounter along your journey. And then another one is that it encourages healthy choices.
00:55If you feel like there's a part of you that is bold and is confident, I can tell you by you going and getting underneath of a barbell or by you going and pushing some weight in the gym or by you going and challenging yourself to do, you know, whatever it is that you want to do with running or calisthenics or CrossFit or all of those things. If you just do that, you will find, you will learn more about your true self because it's you versus you in those moments. It's you versus you under the barbell. It's you in your own mind being like, you can do this or you cannot do this. And when you believe that you cannot, but you still push through when you do, guys, I promise you, you unlock a whole new level of understanding who you are in that moment.
01:41Do not decide to stop. Keep going. Keep showing up consistently because if you keep doing the work for the next three months, hey, guess what? You're that ice cube sitting on the table in front of you. The room went from 25 to 31. Bam. Three months, zero to three months. Bam. Four month, fourth month, 32 degrees. You've unlocked this change. When we falter, instead of spiraling into self-criticism, instead of spiraling into this mental landslide, into a rabbit hole, into spiraling like I cannot do this, we can assess that what led to this slip up?
02:21What led to me not keeping this promise to myself? And then you can recalibrate and you continue forward. And trust me, if you just keep at it with your journey, you can get to that point. Trust me, trust me, trust me. I am living proof that you can get there. You just have to go through these things. But most importantly, you have to build, you have to keep these promises to yourself and you have to build this mental fortitude. Okay, so keeping the promises to yourself emphasizes this profound, profound relationship between your actions, your internal reward mechanisms, your emotional, your mental health.
02:59And keeping promises to oneself is not just a matter of discipline, but it's an essential component of your self-care and self-respect to yourself. This may not be like workout or like here are macros, here's a workout, like let's talk more about the science of things. But this aspect of what I just talked about today is so freaking important for you to be extremely successful on your fitness journey and turn this into a lifestyle that you just live.
03:31Fall in love with the process. Fall in love with your journey. Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself. Live in the moment of every single day, of every single macro track, of every single workout done, of every single bottle of water completed, right? Live in those moments. Be in control of what you can do today that will better you tomorrow. Instead of like letting that end state control the hell out of you and nothing along the way is satisfying.
04:05You just hate the process because you're like, why am I not here? Right? Many of you guys have that type of mentality when you're embarking on a new journey. And I'm saying it's completely normal and I just want to help you understand how to detach away from that so that you can enjoy the journey that you are on. When you are grateful for your body, this is a great example for you to experience gratitude in this moment.
04:38Think with me on this. If you can be grateful for your body's capability and being given the opportunity to exercise, this will often lead to greater intrinsic motivation for you to go and work out. If you right now can experience and be grateful for the fact that your body is given the opportunity and has the opportunity to work out, will you not find the motivation to go and work out? Your body is a powerhouse. It is a machine and you have the capability and the opportunity.
05:11If you have all four legs have good, you know, you're here on this earth, you have the ability to go and work out. You just have to make the choice. Real quick, the only ask I could ever have of you guys is to help spread the word so we can help more women lose body fat, build muscle, reach their goals and feel insanely confident. And the only way we can do that is if you rate, review and share this podcast. So the single thing I ask for you to do is if you could leave a review, it will take you 10 seconds
