00:00Real quick, the only ask I could ever have of you guys is to help spread the word so we can help more women lose body fat, build muscle, reach their goals, and feel insanely confident. And the only way we can do that is if you rate, review, and share this podcast. So the single thing I ask for you to do is if you could leave a review. It will take you 10 seconds, and it will mean the absolute world to me and may change the world of someone else. We can break the habit of being ourselves. In other words, we can rewire our brain to support new habits and behaviors that move us closer to our goals.

00:34And you can do this in three ways. And look, when I mention these three ways, your brain, because of where you're currently at in your current state, in your current thought processes, in your current emotions, if you're the one struggling and having these limiting self-doubt narratives going on, these three things are going to feel weird. Hey, you guys. What's up? Welcome back to The WarriorBabe Show with Nikki Stott, co-founder of Warrior Babe. And on this podcast, we talk about mindset, methodologies, and tactics that will help you lose body fat, build muscle, be strong, and feel insanely confident.

01:12I'm your host, Nikki Stott, and welcome to today's episode, episode number 191. And today, I'm really excited to talk about this topic. We haven't brought a mindset topic to the podcast in a little bit, and I think that this one will be super beneficial for you guys. So we're going to deep dive into a topic that kind of goes beyond workouts, macros, meal plans, strength training.

01:43Although strength training is going to be tied into it, and fitness is going to be tied into it. But I want to talk about how your thoughts, your feelings, those control your actions or even inactions on a daily basis to ultimately shape your success or non-success in your goals moving forward. So in this episode, I really want to explore like mind-body connection, like how your mindset can either propel you towards your goals or can hold you back.

02:13And I've been listening to a ton of Joe Dispenza. I don't know if you guys have ever heard of him. If you've never heard of him, I highly recommend checking him out. And he has an incredible book called Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. And he teaches like how our thoughts, emotions, beliefs create our reality. And more importantly, I want to show you guys these principles today. And I want to talk through them a little bit today.

02:43Clearly not Joe Dispenza, so I'm not going to do it as best as he does. But if you want to check him out, I highly recommend that you do. But I'm going to talk about how like these principles and these things apply to strength training, to eating right, to proper nutrition, to macros, to you achieving your body composition goals, like building muscle, losing body fat, getting toned, and having a physique that you're proud of. So let's freaking get into it, you guys. I'm really excited to talk about this because, you know, I shared a couple episodes.

03:14I haven't really dove into like this kind of transformative period that I'm going through personally for myself. And it has a lot to do with the mindset. It has a lot to do with uncovering aspects that I have been suppressing for a long freaking time. And I'm sure one day, like as I tease it up here, I'm sure one day I will definitely have, hold the space to be able to like share this with you guys, let you into this world of still processing it all. And all that to say, like I'm excited to bring this aspect to you guys in a way that's going to correlate and resonate with you,

03:51with fitness, health, goals, like all of the things. And like how are thoughts, feelings, actions all like it starts with our thoughts, then it goes to our feelings, and then it goes to our actions or thoughts, emotions, actions. And so how it either the thoughts that control the emotions, that control the actions are either going to help you to move forward towards your goals, or they're going to help you, they're going to pull you back in the opposite direction and pull you back and being stuck in where you are.

04:23So I hope at the end of this podcast that maybe if you are stuck, this helps you break free from that on the mental aspect. And if you are profiling forward, but let's say that you're feeling stagnant, and it's not necessarily like the plateau episode that I did a couple weeks ago, but it's more so you're stagnant in your mind, maybe there's some aspects of this podcast that are going to help you, and I hope it does, to maybe get more in alignment with yourself for you to be able to get out of the stagnation and move forward.

04:56So first, let's just like kick things off with one of Joe Dispenza's key ideas that I think is going to just carry us through this entire podcast. Thoughts become things. So this means that the thoughts you think on a daily basis shape your actions and eventually your results. If your thoughts are negative, if they are self-limiting, or if they're filled with doubt, they're going to manifest in behaviors that undermine you and your fitness goals,

05:30whether that's like skipping a workout, overeating, making poor food choices, you know, excuse after excuse, I'm too busy, I don't have enough time. So to break it down to like science, when you repeatedly think certain thoughts, they create these neural pathways in your brain, making those thoughts habitual. And over time, your thoughts become automatic and your brain operates in a kind of default mode. So if you constantly tell yourself that you can't achieve your fitness goals,

06:03you are programming your mind to find ways to make that belief true. Okay, but the good news is too that you can, just as you develop those limiting thoughts, you can also reprogram your mind to think differently. And that's what I love so much about the Warrior Bay program and what we've built over the last six years and just have continued to re to optimize it and improve it and redefine it is it's not just like, hey, here's your workout program.

06:33Here's your nutrition protocol that you have to follow. It's like, let me understand where this human, a babe, we call them our clients babes. At the other end of on my zoom call, right, that the coach's coach, we tell them the coach shows up to the zoom call and onboarding, and they're meeting the client where they are at. And every single client is drastically different. That client is going to have different thoughts, different narratives, different limiting beliefs.

07:03Maybe they are self limiting. Maybe they're filled with doubt. Maybe they're like, positive and hopeful and energetic. And they're super excited about, you know, their, their journey moving forward and that they signed up and, you know, they can't wait or, like I said, self limiting or filled with doubt. And they think they can't do this. Like, then it is the coach's job to hear this, see that this is how the human is operating in terms of thoughts. And no, like West where the professional comes into play is like, no, that these thoughts are not going to

07:37be conducive for a successful journey moving forward. So I need to help this human. And the coach needs to help this human to reprogram her mind to think differently. And that's where some like, we're breaking old habitual thoughts and habitual patterns and habitual actions. But it starts up here first, the thoughts, the emotions, the actions. Thoughts first, we're breaking those. We have to rebuild them. We have to reprogram them. And we have to create better behavior changes, which comes from the emotions, which then go into the actions

08:12that are going to get you to where you want to be, that are going to help you to be successful. That's why it's so much more than just a freaking, here's your workout program to fire. Here's an app that you have all your workouts to do, sets, reps. Here's your macro numbers that you have to go, you know, follow and apply. If you have self-limiting beliefs around nutrition, you think you're going to go follow those macros?

08:44No. If you have self-doubt or negative narratives going on in your brain about how you feel in your body, so thoughts, feelings, do you think that you're going to go to the gym to do your workout? No. And there's going to be, you may be excited. Maybe the person I talked about that's super excited and hopeful and has all the faith in the world at the beginning of their journey,

09:17but then guaranteed two months, once it kind of starts to level out and those emotions dip, you're going to feel these thoughts. And that's where you're going to have a coach to be able to like hear you saying those words and help to reprogram that type of mindset because it's not going to be, you're not going to be, you're not going to be able to be as successful as you want moving forward. So how like with that science that I just broke it down, thinking about how your brain operates in a kind of default mode

09:48because your thoughts become automatic over years and years of programming these neural pathways in your brain to think one way and to have these types of thoughts. And then, you know, when you have these types of thoughts, the brain will find ways to make that belief true. So like you're going to, I'm actually going to dive into it a little bit, but how it applies to fitness. If you want to achieve a toned, strong body, if you want to build muscle and you want to do it through strength training and you want to do macronutrients and you want to eat right, it is so essential to first train your mind to believe that's even freaking possible.

10:22And so what I would recommend that you do, and personally what I've been doing for myself is where I've recognized my shortcomings, is I had just become aware of my thoughts. And I had to become aware of why I would act in the way I was acting because my emotions were driving, my painful emotions were driving it. And it was because those painful emotions comes from thoughts, comes from trauma, comes from X, Y, and Z from so many years ago.

10:54And so when you become aware of that and you become aware of your self-talk and you become aware of the way you have been operating so far, ladies, are you feeling frustrated with body changes you're experiencing during menopause? It's time to take control. If you're between 45 and 65 years old and tired of struggling with body fat and muscle loss,

11:57That's warriorbabe.com forward slash apply. All right, let's get back to the show. You're able to switch it and quick, like it doesn't happen overnight, trust me. Like you have to become aware of it first and then you have to be consciously aware of it when you're in the act of doing it and then you have to be consciously aware to make a change. So like are you telling yourself that I'm too old to build muscle? Like that's one of you guys? Like I'm too, you know, I'm 60 years old.

12:29My best days are behind me. I'm never going to be as fit as I want to be. I'm never going to be as fit as I want to be or as I used to be at 20 years old. Oh, I'm too busy now. I'm never going to be fit. Like I'm just kind of stuck this way. Those thoughts, while they feel harmless, like even me just saying it, just it's almost like it feels harmless. Like I'm too old to build muscle. I mean, it sounds harmless, right? But they are silently shaping your actions or your inactions.

13:01So let's talk about emotions next. So Joe Dispenda says your emotions are energy and motion. The way that you feel affects how you act. When you're stuck in emotions like frustration, fear, stress, your body goes into survival mode. And this triggers your fight or flight response, which raises your cortisol levels and making it harder for you to make rational decisions. Like sticking to a workout program or sticking to honing in on tracking your macronutrients or learning about macronutrients and then making healthy food choices.

13:40So like, for example, have you ever noticed you guys, if you're ever stressed, you tend to reach for comfort foods. Or maybe you feel too drained after a work day and you don't feel like you feel way too tired to go hit the gym and get your workout done. That's your emotions driving your actions. But when you shift your emotional state into one of like, I'm excited, I'm empowered, I'm inspired. I have belief in myself or my coach is giving the belief.

14:12My coach believes me. So I need to show up for my coach. And then eventually you can believe in yourself more. You are far more likely to follow through with your fitness program. You are far more likely to go into the gym and do that workout. You are far more likely to, you know, have your macros aligned for the day and stick to eating the healthy choices that you have already planned for yourself. Now, here's where it gets interesting though. Positive emotions, such as excitement about your goals and like, this can create a cascade of beneficial effects, right?

14:46They lower your cortisol levels, they improve your focus, they increase your motivation to stick to taking the action. This is why setting fitness goals can genuinely excite you and help you to stay committed. When you are emotionally aligned, and this is where I was saying at the beginning of the podcast, where I hope that if you are kind of, you've had success, but then now you feel stagnant mentally. This is where you can get, if you're setting, you need to set goals for yourself and new goals.

15:19Let's say you had a year down and like, you've accomplished some awesome things and you're like, I don't need this anymore. It's like, no, no, no, no, no. You still got work to do. It doesn't just happen in one year. It happens over to truly be successful. It could take years for that to happen. You get maybe, you know, you break some habits in the first year, you're seeing some results, you're 13 pounds down, but then it's like, oh, but I still have more work to do. And there's still other limiting beliefs that I have to break. And there's still other knowledge I have to gain. And so this is my next goal.

15:50I want to lose another 10 pounds, but I want to gain more knowledge. And how this past year has led me to this result and why. And I want to ask more questions and X, Y, and Z. When you are emotionally aligned with what you want, you're more likely then to take actions that support those goals. Whether it's, okay, so I want to learn more knowledge and ask more questions. Or whether it's like, okay, I could have done better with meal prepping in the last year. So this next year, I'm going to do better with my meal prepping.

16:21And I'm going to track my, like I'm going to be, I'm going to stick to the plan tracking my macros and hitting. And, you know, maybe you were 80% with hitting your workouts. Maybe you want to make an 85%, right? And get in the gym regularly. Knowing that if you can show up better than how you did this last year, then you, if you show up a little bit better, then you're going to see even just even more progress at that point than you did in the last year. Because you're showing up more and showing up better. So I think that's what the interesting is.

16:51Because positive emotions with you being excited about goals creates so many incredible effects. It makes you want to, it like, it's this, you're attached mentally to those goals. And you start thinking of ways of how to show up better for those goals. Or things come into your space from the universe that's like, hey, I know you set this intention or this goal. So here's something that like is going to help you get to it. And sometimes those things don't even make sense.

17:22But you go do it because it feels intuitively right. And then you, then you're like, whoa, that, that helped me like four weeks ago. I did this and I see the progress from it. And I didn't even recognize it came into my space. And that drove me, this is driving me to my goals. Example. I just spoke to an incredible human. I showed up to, to surprise a warrior babe. And she said that she was, she was going to the doctors and her doctors are like, oh, this, you know, you're, you're, you're 55 years old.

17:52You're just kind of, this is what, this is what life is now. And like, she was almost accepting of that until she saw me, saw our ads. You guys know, warrior babe runs a ton of ads, Facebook, Instagram. I think she saw it on Instagram, she said. And that moment she felt like she had hope. That's a feeling. And so then that hope drove her to sign up for the program. And then the positive emotions that came from that, from her setting goals and with her coach when she got inside, cascaded in a, in a lieu of beneficial events and beneficial effects.

18:32It improved her focus and increased her motivation to take action. That's why it's so important for you to set goals that genuinely excite you because those feelings are going to drive your actions. Ladies, are you feeling frustrated with body changes you're experiencing during menopause? It's time to take control. If you're between 45 and 65 years old and tired of struggling with body fat and muscle loss, Warrior Babe is here for you. At Warrior Babe, we've helped over 18,000 women just like you lose body fat, build toned muscle, and understand their bodies better with personalized plans based on hormone and thyroid testing and more.

19:14Imagine knowing exactly what your body needs to see real results and results that last. Look, don't wait anymore. Take charge of your health and join our community of strong, empowered women. Visit warriorbabe.com forward slash apply today to start your transformation. That's warriorbabe.com forward slash apply. All right, let's get back to the show. How can you apply this understanding to change your thought patterns? I'm sure that's what's like, okay, Nick, you're making tons of sense, but like, how do I change my thought patterns?

19:45How do I change my emotional state to align with my goals? And this is where that book that I mentioned at the beginning, Joe Dispenza teaches that we can break the habit of being ourselves. In other words, we can rewire our brain to support new habits and behaviors that move us closer to our goals. And you can do this in three ways. And look, when I mention these three ways, your brain, because of where you're currently at in your current state, in your current thought processes, in your current emotions,

20:19if you're the one struggling and having these limiting self-doubt narratives going on, these three things are going to feel weird. They are, your brain's going to be like, that's stupid. Because that's currently where you're at right now. So you have to rewire your brain. You have to basically like rewire your subconscious to be in alignment. And I'm not 100% right in terms of my words here, but you need to operate consciously differently.

20:49But we are so, we operate so much from our subconscious that how can you operate consciously differently? You have to rewire your subconscious brain. And that takes effort and that takes work. Because that subconscious is years and years and years. And like, you can go all the way back to when you were five years old and remember a thought that probably was either good or bad. That thought has probably created some type of neural pathway in your brain that has some attachment to old habitual habits or how you think about something on a regular basis.

21:23Which doesn't even, it alters our reality too as well. That's another rabbit hole. I'm not going to go down that rabbit hole. So if that, if these feel weird to you, good. Embrace that. Even question, like, why does this feel weird to me? Why do these affirmations, which is one of them, why does it feel weird? Well, affirmations are going to feel weird because you're talking about a future state you, but you're in a current state you. And you're not yet to that future state. And to the current state you is going to do everything in its power to keep it where you are right now.

21:54Because it doesn't want to change. That's your ego. And again, these are little tiny buckets of things I'm kind of dropping here in the last three minutes that have their own rabbit hole to go down. Reality distorted, rabbit hole, ego, rabbit hole. But like, I want to, you know, just hear. I'm like, Nikki, bring it back. So affirmations is one of them. If it feels weird, good. But you saying positive affirmations can also can reshape your thought patterns.

22:27If you create affirmations that reflect the body and the lifestyle that you want, the future you, then that's going to help you train your subconscious to believe them, which in turn impacts your actions moving forward. So think about an affirmation like I remember when I first started my fitness journey, not only also the same time when I was starting Warrior Babe, I didn't have a business mentality. I didn't have a fitness mentality.

22:58I maybe had a fitness mentality from when I was younger, but I was stuck in, you know, alcohol and drinking and all of the things. And I wasn't happy in my body. All X, Y, and Z. A lot of people where they are when they're starting, I need to make a change, right? You feel a lot of pain. You're like, I need to make a change. I had three pages of affirmations that I used to read because I was hellbent on making a change. And I was so tired of being where I was right now and stuck in my patterns and stuck in my habits and stuck in these thought processes and stuck in not being happy.

23:30And so those three pages consisted a lot about, you know, I'm a businesswoman, X, Y, and Z. I don't remember exactly what they said, but more so for to help you is if you write down, like for now, I have new affirmations for currently where I'm at in my process right now of a healing journey and getting rid of old traumatic thoughts from when I was younger to help rewire my subconscious brain to believe them so that I can take better actions and grow and evolve from it.

24:01So I would recommend you guys like highly recommend this to be the number one thing that if you are struggling with your current state and you're struggling with these thoughts and this is the narrative going on. So I would take the time to write out affirmations and make sure you write them out the right way. And also you can seek support like you can go online, you can have read affirmations from the ones that you probably see if you Google. ChatGPT is amazing. If you go on ChatGPT and you ask ChatGPT to help me with affirmations for what you're specifically struggling with, no matter what though, make sure that they are in your own words.

24:39Because you have to believe them. In your future, you have to believe them. So here are some examples. It's like you if you think about where you want to be, think about the body lifestyle that you want to achieve. And that can look like, okay, I am getting stronger every day. And I feel confident in my skin. So it's like I am where you're currently not at right now, but where you want to be. I am getting strong every day.

25:09Like I am a macro genius because I understand that macros are fuel for my body to give me the results that I want. I feel empowered and resilient on my fitness journey. You have to. So you have to. So see what you're not a macro genius right now. That's where your brain's going to trick you and try and keep you where you are. But you want to be a macro genius, right? Because you want to understand this stuff. You know macros are important to getting to your goals.

25:40So you reading those every single day is you rewiring your subconscious brain to believe that. And guess what you're going to do? If you are saying these things, you're going to think about different ways of which you can show up for yourself on a daily basis. Your brain isn't anymore thinking about or finding ways to believe like old habits are true. Okay? So because like what I said earlier is if you're programming, if you're operating from a programming, your brain find ways to make those beliefs true.

26:13So if you say you're not a macro genius or you don't understand macros and macros are too hard, your brain is going to find ways to make that belief true. And then that's going to make you feel frustrated. And then the actions that you're going to take are inactions towards your fitness goals. So I hope this is making sense. It's getting me fired up. But you want to make those. And then at the end, I feel because it's a feeling. You either rewire the feeling. You either rewire the thought. You either rewire the feeling. Because when you do those two things, it's going to drive you into different actions.

26:46So I need to repeat these. So I would say like write 10. Write 5. Write 10. Write 5 to start. Make them good. Read them every day. Read them in the morning. Read them at night. Read them in the morning because you're about to start your day and you're kicking off. And you want good thoughts to fill your brain. And at the end of the day, you're about to go into sleep where we dive into our subconscious brain when we sleep. So you want to read those last thing before you go to bed. And then that's the last thing you're thinking about when you fall asleep. So you're rewiring your subconscious brain while you're sleeping with those thoughts.

27:20Other ways you can do this. I think that the affirmations are one of the most important ones. You can do visualization. Visualization is definitely a little bit harder for people to do. But it's a very powerful tool when it comes to reprogramming your mind. How I do this is I write out who I want to be. And I'm currently not that person. Right? But I actually have like a slew. Like I have like a page definition of who I want to be. Of how I'm operating differently from now.

27:50From I'm still like in the healing journey of like figuring things out. But I know future me has figured it out. And this is how she operates. So for you it's like okay I'm stuck in a painful you know feeling in my body. I'm not happy with it. So who do you want to be? What does that person look like? What is she doing? How is she showing up? How is she acting differently? And you want to visualize her from that. So imagine yourself lifting heavier weights.

28:21Eating your macros. Eating healthy foods. Feeling confident and strong. So you can take a few minutes. You can either think about it like this. You don't have to write it down. You can either think about that person. Might be a little bit harder to do. Because again current state. But you can either just sit and meditate on that person. Or if you want to write it out like you did the affirmations. You can write out the visualization. Either in your notepad or on your phone. Or you can write it on paper. And you can read that every day. And taking a few minutes to visualize yourself reaching those goals.

28:53And this primes your brain to start looking for opportunity. To make those visualizations a reality. And the last thing is gratitude. Gratitude is another way to shift your emotional state. So when you're focusing on gratitude. For whether it's you know the progress you made so far. The fact that you can move your body. The fact that you're seeing the results that you want. Or that you're grateful for the options that you have to eat healthy foods. You're grateful for that you get to work out.

29:25You don't have to work out. You get to work out. You put yourself in a more positive emotional state. And that positive motivates action. And that helps you to stay on track with you going to the gym and doing your workouts. You doing following your nutrition. And getting the results that you want. So I think those are three powerful ways that you are able to change. How your thought patterns are right now.

29:57Change your thought patterns and your emotional state. To align better with where you're going and who you want to be. And that's like you have to break the habit of being yourself where you are right now. You have to break those all-wadvitual thought patterns. And rewire them to new habits and new behaviors and new actions that are going to move you towards your goals. So let's tie this back to you achieving body composition goals too.

30:27And like helping you get toned. Helping you build muscle. Helping you through strength training workouts. Helping you do the macros. The mental aspect of strength training is absolutely huge. If you believe that lifting heavier weights is something you can't do. Your body will follow suit. But if you shift your mindset to tell yourself. I'm getting stronger with every rep. You're more likely to push yourself further. And better and harder in the gym. And so these are ways I really want to tie in. What I'm talking about in this whole entire episode. And to how it ties into you actually.

30:59Like tangible. What it looks like tangibly on a daily basis. It's that saying. If you believe you can you will. If you believe you can't you won't. And it's so true. If you believe you can't. Your body's going to follow suit. You're not. You're going to feel like the last rep is. Not necessarily the last rep should be hard. But you're not going to. You're not going to try to push yourself as hard as you possibly can. Because those thoughts are carrying on to those types of feelings. And that's going to help.

31:29That's going to be the way that you take the action. But if you feel like. Oh. Like you know. You go into a set. And you're like. I'm getting stronger with every rep. I got this. I can do this. And you're telling your brain that. Then you're more likely to be able to push yourself further in the gym. Same goes through nutrition. Building muscle. Having a toned body. Requires the right balance of macronutrients. Requires that you eat protein, fats and carbohydrates. And you learn how to do it sustainably. And not be doing these fad diets. Like I talked about in one of the last episodes.

32:01But without the right mindset. Sticking to it. To that plan. Can feel like an absolute chore. By reframing your thought around food. You can turn nutrition into an empowering freaking tool. Instead of thinking. I have to eat this healthy meal. Shift your thinking to like. I'm fueling my body to be strong and healthy. Do you see the difference in that simple mindset shift? I have to eat this healthy meal. I have to track my macros today.

32:32I have to do this. Shift your thinking like. I am fueling my body to be strong and healthy. With every single macronutrient that I eat on a daily basis. I am getting stronger with every single rep that I do on a daily basis. And I can't wait to see what my body is going to look like in 12 months. Those simple shifts in the narrative that you are saying to yourself. It's going to make it easier for you to stick to your nutrition plan. To stick to tracking macros. To learn how to do these things that support you and your goals.

33:06I think that this concept that I'm talking about. Goes far beyond working out and nutrition and following those plans. Like it literally your mindset either makes or breaks the way that you are successful in your fitness journey. It makes or breaks it. If you are operating every single day from I can't or this is too hard or excuse, excuse, excuse. Or inaction, inaction, inaction. Where is that stemming from? It's stemming from your mind. It's stemming from your thoughts.

33:38So rewire them. Make a mindset shift. Because that inevitably is going, if you are thinking better things in support of your goals, you're going to find ways to show up better. The universe is going to give you things to show up better. To get more in alignment with yourself. And guess what? It's not going to be easy. Some of the things are not going to make sense. But you have to believe that what's being handed to you or what's being told is the right way to get to your goal.

34:10And you have to go execute on it. And that's some of the hardest things to be able to do is take the action to do it. So, and the action is the most important thing. You can have these thoughts. You can have these feelings. But if you don't do anything with them, you're stuck in action. You're stuck in where you are right now and not making any change for yourself. If you start rewiring these thoughts, if you start rewiring, then that goes into the feelings and emotions that you're feeling. And you're hopeful and you're excited and you feel faith and X, Y, and Z.

34:43The action is you're going to go drive to go do the workout. You're going to spend the 30 minutes instead of watching Netflix at the end of the night to track your macros for the next day. So that you can wake up in the morning and put all your meals into your bag and head out for your work day and know that you're successful because, or know that you have a plan because you've packed all your meals the night before. Instead of feeling drained at the end of your work day and sitting and watching Netflix. Because two different ways you can show up.

35:14Thoughts, feelings, being thoughts. I'm too drained for my workout feelings. I'm drained. I'm not going to take the action. And then you're in an action. You sit down on the couch. You want to watch Netflix for the next three hours. Instead, thoughts are, I am, thoughts are, I have, I want to go accomplish this goal for myself. Or thoughts are like, I have, I have a goal in mind.

35:49That's what we talked about at the beginning of the podcast. You have this goal. You have the thought of a goal. You have a thought of what you want to accomplish. The feelings are that I'm excited. I'm hopeful. I'm empowered. X, Y, and Z. Those are your feelings. So then your action is, I'm going to spend 30 minutes to an hour putting my meals together and packing up for the next day instead of watching Netflix. Do you see how those are two drastically different realities? So all in all to say in this podcast, you guys, I think this is a really good one.

36:26And there's, these are some top, these are some concepts that are hard to understand. So if you need to listen to this podcast, again, I would highly recommend it. Or if you need to listen to Joe Dispenza, I would highly recommend it too as well. So takeaway is your thoughts and feelings have a direct impact on your actions. And if you shift your mindset, you can unlock your full potential when it comes to the goals that you're striving for and who you want to become. So everything starts in your mind.

36:57Whether it's a strength training workout that you have to go do, whether it's I need to track my macros at the end of the day, or I need to make sure my macros are aligned for the day, whether it's, you know, achieving the goals that you set out to achieve. Everything starts in your mind. Everything else, the workouts, the macros, that's all the tool and the resource to get you there. But if you don't believe you can do it, you're not going to do it. If you believe you can, you believe you will go do it. And it starts there. You have the power to, to change the way you think and feel about your journey.

37:30It is all in your control. If you reprogram your mind to believe in your strength and your abilities to visualize your success, to take consistent action that is aligned with those thoughts, the body you want, the results you want is so freaking possible. But it all starts here. All right, guys. So good. Do what you got to do. Good to get more aligned with yourself, to rewire your thoughts, to rewire. Do those affirmations. I'm telling you, do it.

38:00And then write down a future you. And go find, if you don't know how to do it, go Google how to do it. Or if you're a warrior, go talk to your coach about how to do it. All right? Go do it.
