00:00I was severely depressed. I was no longer wanted to be around people. I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin. Hey, what's going on, you guys? Welcome back to The WarriorBabe Show with Nikkie Stott, co-founder of WarriorBabe. And on this podcast, we talk about mindset, methodologies, and tactics that will help you lose body fat, build muscle, be strong, and feel insanely confident.

00:32I am your host, Nikkie Stott, and welcome to today's episode, episode number 231. And today, you guys are going to hear another incredible WarriorBabe journey. This is going to be WarriorBabe Angela. She lost over 20 pounds, 8 inches. She stayed committed for nearly 300 days straight. And most importantly, she has found her smile, her strength, and her purpose again.

01:03After battling some of the darkest days and her lowest times, and even some suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, weight gain, all of that left her feeling that way. As she entered perimenopause. So for those of you guys, I hope maybe, you know, if you feel like you're in that position right now, or you are navigating a situation in your life that is uncomfortable, maybe this episode will be able to help you guys. And I hope it does. All right. If you ever feel like you're in a dark place, this episode is here to remind you that there's always a way forward.

01:36Let's dive in. Well, with that opening, I mean, I've read through your story, and I'm so excited for you to be here and to share the story that you've transformed yourself in one ways more than just a transformation with your body, but also in your mindset. And I want to have the audience know, like, what was your situation before you joined WarriorBabe? So before I joined, about six to eight months prior to joining, I was struggling physically and mostly mentally.

02:12I knew my body was going through changes, perimenopause. I'm not quite in menopause yet. But I was severely depressed, severely had anxiety. I'm a people person. I've been in the fitness industry for about 15 years. Everybody had known me as the Energizer Bunny. Anyways, I lost that, and I no longer wanted to be around people.

02:43I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin. I was going through a lot of depression and suicidal thoughts. I've never, there was no reason to be suicidal. But there was many moments that I thought I could just drive my truck off a bridge, or I don't have to show up today. Every day, I didn't know if I was going to wake up. It's going to make me cry now. If I was going to be happy or sad, or at the drop of a hat, it could change. So that's when I knew that I needed to find something to basically save me, because it

03:19was scary. I'd never been through that my whole life. So that's what I was going through prior to calling you guys. Wow. Thank you for sharing that. I know that that is pretty vulnerable to put out there, and I appreciate you sharing it, because I know somebody else is going to be listening to this, and maybe they feel the same exact way. What exactly during that time was triggering you to feel that way? I believe it was perimenopause, the hormone changes.

03:51And just, you know, I had, even though I was, yeah, I guess I should back up. Even though I was exercising, I don't know, 12, 13 times a week. I mean, I was doing classes. I was doing, you name it, I was doing it. I was not eating perfect, but I definitely have never been, I've never really struggled with bad, bad eating. Um, but I was gaining weight and I was, um, you know, I had like this soft, like cellulite

04:24all over my body that had never been there before. And I kept getting tests to see, you know, what's my estrogen levels, my hormone levels, where am I at? And we did discover my estrogen was really, really high, which for my age should be low. So I'm, I know that hormones were also playing a part of this, which again is the perimenopause. So you mentioned these things like perimenopausal depression and anxiety, and even those suicidal thoughts. What was like the turning point that made you finally be like, dude, like, um, I, I was the energizer bunny.

04:54I was the people person, like, and you slipped into those feelings. What was the turning point that was like, I need help. Um, because I was scared. I was really, really scared. We also run a fishing lodge in the summer times. There was times where I was laying in bed and I didn't want to get up to go greet my guest or see my guest. Um, and the guests are my life. I've been doing it for 30 some years. And, um, and I just, there was so many deep, dark thoughts.

05:25Um, and at the end of that summer, I went into the fall and it just progressively was getting worse and worse and worse. And, and my husband, bless his heart was working with me as much as he could, but, you know, I was like, I felt bad. He was, you know, I was, I, like I said, I'd be angry, sad, um, didn't want to get out of bed, didn't want to be around people. And so basically the turning point was, um, I kept seeing your, um, stuff on Facebook and

05:57Instagram about the perimenopause. And I just knew that I'm so in tune with my body and my feelings that I knew there was something going on. I must've saw your ad a million times. And finally I'm like, I'm just going to break down and call her. I'm just going to see what happens. And that was, yeah, I just wanted to make it. January came and, um, you know, and I was like, okay, I kept putting it off cause I was scared. And then I think it was the first of February, I finally broke down and contacted you guys

06:31and was like, I need help. So, yeah. I can't wait to dive in. I'm going to, um, also ask you some things around like that initial, um, you know, like interaction. And when you first started warrior babe, and then we'll dive into your successes, because as I shared at the beginning, like you have had some incredible successes as you were sharing in the application before we hopped on this call. So before, well, before we dive into that, how are you, you mentioned that you were working

07:01out like 12, 13 times a week. How did you feel physically during this time? Like, did you feel like your body felt different due to the hormonal changes? Were you gaining weight? And my, and let me backtrack one question. How old are you? I'm 51. Okay. Did you hear that? 51. 51. All right. So we're still in perimenopause, correct? Like we haven't. Yes. I, yeah. So I haven't. Like the longest I've gone without a cycle is like four months. And then all of a sudden I'll have a cycle again.

07:33So I'm still considered Perry. Got it. Fun times. You gotta love that, right? You're like, oh, it's not here. I'll wait. Shit. It's here. So were you experiencing anything and changes or are you right now? Or I guess prior because you've had such amazing success prior during that time. Were you noticing any changes in your body? Yeah. Just a lot of, a lot of puffiness, a lot of. So even though I was working out, it didn't seem like I was building the muscle and then

08:07I was just retaining. So it looked like I was really puffy and retaining fluid. Really like that cellulite look, dimply. And I, I couldn't understand where that was coming from because I'm like, I'm not eating a bad diet. I'm not eating frigging cheeseburgers and pizza every day. You know, I mean, what, what is happening? Why am I continuing to get this look? And, um, I was just starting to go, well, I guess I, this is 51.

08:40This is 50. This is what, you know, this is what I guess we look like now, but I didn't want to settle with that. I wasn't, I wasn't ready to settle with that. I love that. A lot of women do settle with it or their doctors are like, oh, this is just, you're moving to menopause and it's time to accept your age. And this is just what happens. And yes. And I, I even hear that in my, in my classes that I teach. A lot of the women are, you know, between 30 and 50 and, um, everybody's just like, oh, this is just getting older.

09:11Oh, this is just the way it is now. And I'm like, no, no. Love your mindset. By the way, if you guys aren't watching this on video, which majority of you guys will be, but please check out Angela's biceps right now. Give them a flex, Angela. They look so good. Yes. Look at that. Let's go. So did you have, were those arms like that prior to warrior B? Were they, that defined? No, no, not, no, not at all. Biceps is definitely been one of my stronger points.

09:44Cause I competed about 10 years ago. Um, seven, eight years ago. Um, they were never this full. So I would get super, I could cardio out and lean out and get tiny, but I never had full muscles like I did. And that was one of the things when I, I'm sure you'll get to this, but one of the things I said when I was talking to the lady that was interviewing me for starting the program, I said, I just want to have arms like Nikki. Oh girl, you do.

10:17They look good. I would love to have a picture next to you. I was just doing flex. That'll happen one day. So, okay. You beforehand eating wise is always a really big struggle for women when they're first, you know, getting into fitness and you know, you've been into fitness for a while, as you mentioned, but how are you, you didn't, you said you didn't have a bad diet. What do you mean, like, what did your diet consist of on a day-to-day basis? Um, it's actually a lot of the same what I eat now. So, um, uh, so I would have egg whites in the morning with sometimes an egg yolk.

10:53And then I would have either oatmeal or toast. Um, and then a couple hours later I'd have a protein shake or protein bar. And then for lunch was normally rice and chicken, which is a lot what I eat now. But what I didn't do then that I am doing now is, is you guys taught me macros. I've known what macros are. I've known obviously cause I've fitness and competing, but I always just did what they told me to do.

11:23Like some, I hire a nutrition coach and they'd tell me to eat this, but I never really learned, um, about macros, how to implement it into my diet pro, you know, into my, not my diet, my lifestyle. Um, I never learned how about them and I've learned so, so, so much. And what is nice is that, um, this is a lifestyle, you guys, this isn't a diet. It's a lifestyle and you can still implement the foods that you like.

11:56As long as you put it together with your macros, my fitness pal has literally saved my life. I've had it before. I, but I've never been consistent. Um, I think I'm on 309 days. And, and I'm telling you, like, even at Christmas and Christmas Eve, when I had 30 people, I inputted everything, whether it was good or bad. Um, I inputted it to see where I was.

12:29Um, but yeah, so my diet has, you know, I, the foods I eat, um, are pretty close to what I was eating before, but clearly I was not getting enough, um, bleeding. Believe it or not, I was actually, I've always been pretty good about the protein. Um, but my carbs, um, weren't always correct. Like, um, I'd either be under or way over. Um, and so, so yeah, I think just learning how to implement the macros into the, the six,

12:59like I try to eat five or six meals a day, um, learning the, the percentages and how to always have the, you know, protein and carbs be, you know, obviously everybody's different on their numbers, but, um, I just, just learning, learning how to do that has made a huge difference in my transformation. I love to hear that. Yeah. Macros is a whole nother world. Like, cause I totally can resonate with you being told, Hey, here's your meal plan. Follow that meal plan, chicken, broccoli, rice, tilapia, you know, the bodybuilding kind of

13:36world. Yeah. And then you do, but you, you, if you follow a blindly and you're not curious about, you know, what you're eating, how much you're consuming, like you had just mentioned that you didn't really know it, but you then, you know, got to worry, babe, and you were taught macros and what they are and how much that you're eating on a daily basis. Exactly where it's all coming from and more carbs and, um, more carbs. I've made this huge transmit information being about an average of four to 500 calories more

14:07a day. Wait a second. Can you say that one more time? How much more food are you eating? Uh, four to 500 calories more a day on average. Yes. And you're 51 and you're going through your primary menopausal. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And how's your mindset on that? Because a lot of women, when they first start, they're always taken aback. Like majority of our babes go through like a retrain process. Did you go through that at the beginning? Yes. Yeah. So it was definitely, um, and more for me, it was more scary mentally, like mentally it

14:41was scary as like, wait a minute, I've been between 12 and 1600 calories forever. Like, how am I going to 2000? How am I going to 1900? You know, so, um, so it was, it was more. And then, you know, and at first, um, you know, the scale was kind of, you don't go by the scale. Um, I mean, you need it, but you don't. Um, it's, um, so at first, you know, you could tell my body was like trying to go like, what the heck is going on? And then all of a sudden it was just down, down, down and inches were going down and

15:15body was changing and the inflammation was going away. And, um, yeah. So there's, yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. That is so cool to hear. And now you feel like you're like, when you first started logging macros, how long did it take you? Ladies, are you feeling frustrated with body changes you're experiencing during menopause? It's time to take control.

16:20Visit warrior babe.com forward slash apply today to start your transformation. That's warrior babe.com forward slash apply. All right, let's get back to the show. Oh my goodness. I would say that it took a good three to four weeks to really, um, to get it down. It would, some days would just get so frustrating and, and, and now I'm, you know, ideally, obviously

16:50you should be planning your meal ahead. Um, I happen to, uh, I, I, I do a lot of cooking at home throughout the day anyway. You know, I mean, I don't necessarily have to meal prep now, if I know that I'm not going to be around my house or something, I'll meal prep, but I kind of just kind of cook as I go or like, I'll save dinner, extra dinner for the next day's lunch. Um, so a lot of times when I'm entering my fitness pal, I, I enter it as the day goes. I don't necessarily do ahead, but I pretty much know in my head now where I'm at now at

17:26the beginning, obviously I didn't know that. So I think it took me a little bit to figure that out because I'd, I'd enter it and I'd be short at the end of the day and I'd be like, ah, but now I pretty much know, okay, if you have a banana with your protein shake, you know, this is where you're going to be carb wise. So this is what you're going to need for the rest of the day to keep you in your macros. So, and that's where it's taught me a lot. And, and the accountability of the, my fitness pal has been, um, huge for me.

17:58It's, it's every night, like if I haven't entered by nine o'clock at night, it's like you have entered 287 days in a row. Don't let you know. And I'll make sure I get in there. That is awesome. That is awesome. Now we're kind of getting ahead to the results you've, uh, accomplished, but I want to ask one question before I kind of take us back to the start of warrior, babe. How does that all, like what you just shared with me about looking at macros and tracking macros and even like, you know, now midday, you can go in and log your whole day and still

18:31have, you know, hit them by the end of the day. Like, again, to bring it like back, the start of your journey, three, four weeks, it was taking time to like really knelt down and get used to it. How does that make you look at food now? Um, I mean, I, I love food. Um, I love food. And, um, what I do enjoy about learning this is that, um, I don't have to, uh, tell myself

19:02no per se. Um, you know, cause a lot of times if I say I can't have that, um, then I just want it more. And so, and, and I look as food as I think of it all every time I'm eating, like this is fuel. This is fueling my body. This is fueling my energy. This is fueling my, my, um, emotions to eat right and feel good. Because if you eat right, you feel good. If you eat like crap, you don't feel good. You might feel good at the moment, but I guarantee you an hour later or two and that night when

19:38you're logging it in, you don't feel good. No, I love that. That's my, I, I look at it as, as, um, food is don't make it such a heavy restriction. I see so many people, um, saying I can, I can, I can, I can't, I can't have it. Well, yes, you can. Um, or, you know, like I had nachos the other night, logged it in, knew that the next night back to chicken, you know? I mean, it's just, just, just don't make it because this is a lifestyle.

20:09Like it's a lifestyle. And, um, we go, we all go through changes from their twenties to our thirties, to our forties, to our fifties, sixties. Um, and we have to learn how to make it a lifestyle change and, and implement it into our day-to-day lives instead of quick fixes. And this is it, you know? I love that. It's like a sense of freedom with food now. Yes. Yes. That's awesome. Hey, while you're listening, if you're getting value from this episode, take a moment to tap

20:42that review button or share this podcast with a friend. It's a small gesture that goes a long way in helping more women find their way to feeling stronger and more confident in their skin. I appreciate you so much for taking the time to support this show. Okay. Let's go back to when you started Warrior Babe. Where, what were your thoughts as you, like what, what, what actually made you say yes? What made you say yes to what the team member that you talked to on the call? What, what was like, um, I'm, I'm in.

21:13Well, she asked me, um, I mean, she was very like to the point, like, are you ready to commit? Are you ready for this change? And I, I was a hundred percent ready because I wanted to change where I was mentally. I definitely wanted to change physically, but more mentally than anything. I, I did not want to be in that. What stood out to you about the mental aspect of Warrior Babe, right? Cause Warrior Babe is, we're known as a fitness company, but I love, you know, me, I preach

21:46it all on our community calls, the mental side of things. What stood out to you about the mental aspect of it? Uh, what stood out to me was the, was basically her saying that you guys worked with women that were perimenopause and menopause. Um, and that's really what, you know, took me in was like, okay, this program is going to target women that are going through this. They obviously know what they're doing. Um, you know, and, and they've got to, I'm just like, I'm, I'm ready.

22:21I'm, um, a hundred percent ready and was a hundred percent ready. I mean, they asked me, are you, is your husband, you know, going to support you? Are you ready to commit? And, um, I knew he would support me no matter what, because he, he did, he wanted to see better for me also. Um, but yeah, I just, it was, I was ready to make a change mentally more than physically. It was, I wanted to save my life because I was scared. I was really, really scared. Um, and I didn't, I, I mean, I've, I've known people to fight suicide and suicidal thoughts

22:58and I never realized, um, it, it was so frigging scary. I'm like, oh my gosh, there's people that go through this every day and don't talk about it and they don't understand why they're going through it. And I didn't even understand why I was going through it because I had no reason. I have a good family, a nice house, a job. I mean, there was, that's what was scary too is like, okay, if I had a reason, but I don't even have a reason, but these hormones and everything are taking over and they are

23:29so powerful. And, um, so yeah, that's, I was ready to commit to make that change. And you know, even you just having the awareness to like recognize that the hormones were, cause you, you, everything you said, as you say, life was great. Work is great. Family is great. What internally we don't recognize because it's not something that is tangible to see in front of us is the hormonal changes that you're experiencing. That's right. And people think it's, they're just going crazy, but it's like you had the, and that's

24:01an amazing awareness to have that, you know, you recognize that these hormones were changing and not everyone does. So I just want to like really applaud you for that because that drove you to be like, Hey, I need to make a change. I need to figure something out. I want to, you even stated like you were, you became a different person. You wanted to get yourself back. So you were aware of those things. Yes. Were you skeptical at all when you joined warrior bib? Um, no, I, I was not skeptical.

24:32I was, I was ready. I, like I said, I had watched your videos I'd gone through and I'd even done, I think a couple of your surveys. I mean, I, I was so ready and yes, it took me 30, 40, 45 days to finally, you know, make the phone call and do it, but, um, I was ready. I was ready. So you're almost a year in. How do you feel about that? You made some serious progress. Let's talk about that. Some serious progress. And all I can say is, um, I can't wait to do, um, just to see exactly where I am a year

25:08out, which is, is literally only a few weeks away, but, um, I cannot wait to see what this next year brings me. Share with the, share with the, did you sign up for another year? I'm, I will be signing up. Yes. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the other, but yes, I will be signing up for another year. Absolutely. That's amazing. Who's your coach. Who are you working with? Donna. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to Donna. Yes. What a sweetheart. You have an amazing. She's a sweetheart. Love her. Love her so much.

25:39So let's share with the people. What are some of your top achievements? I've been like holding that, that like hanger this entire time. My very first top achievement is that I'm, I no longer am depressed, uh, have anxiety. Um, all of that has gone away. I have had no signs whatsoever of being suicidal at all. Um, I'm back to having high energy, just feeling good. There's a, you know, every now and then there's a couple of days that I'll just feel a little

26:11out of it. And, but that's, that's just, that's life. Um, um, but overall it's, I'm back to being Angie. I'm back to being who I am. Um, um, secondly, obviously I've dropped them right around 20 pounds. Um, and so I'm, I'm fluctuating. Yeah. I've dropped right around 20 pounds. I think almost four inches. In my body, um, my, my hips, um, as far, you mean like, like what area or?

26:46Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So my biggest, yeah, my biggest drop was, um, my hips, um, my belly and most, the other thing, um, is all my inflammation, all my, I mean, I, I'm, I, we all have cellulite in some areas. It's just the way it is, but, um, yeah, but I don't have that soft, like it's my, it's off my legs. It's off my back. It's off my stomach. Um, yeah, it's, yeah.

27:18So those, those are the, yeah. So the, my, the, the 20 pounds, I think it's almost four inches off my hips. Um, I think three inches or so off my waist. Um, so yeah, I've made some huge transformations there. Um, and my muscles are, and my muscles are, yeah, my muscles are full. Um, my strength has gone up tremendously. Um, and, uh, let's see. And, and mind you, all of this has happened with less, uh, I train harder.

27:55Um, more or not harder. Actually, I should say I train harder when it comes to the lifting. Um, I've never really lifted heavy per se. Um, so I, I actually lift heavy now and I don't work out near as much. Let's unpack that a little bit because I know like I, I go to the gym and I see women that are 45, 55, 65 working out. And, and they're, I, I just, you know, it's not my place yet.

28:28Maybe I'll like befriend them and walk up to them, but I, but I see them like, you know, I know that they can do more. I know they can challenge themselves a little bit more. Oh, do you have the same success nutrition facts behind you? Not me being like a little squirrel brain right now. I do. Squirrel brain. I saw that. I just know he's not. Yeah. Um, so you, that's, I see women doing that. I'm like, oh, you know, they, I, I understand they don't know the benefits of it entirely,

28:59but what were you doing beforehand and what are you doing differently now when it comes to strength training? Um, well, I honestly had kind of dropped strength, specific strength training out, um, for pretty much since COVID. Um, and all I went to was teaching my classes, which at that time I was teaching one, two, three, four, five, six, nine classes a week and attending my other trainers classes. So I was doing like 14 classes a week.

29:30Um, and in my, uh, what I call my fit camp classes, but we do implement weights in those, but it's never, obviously it's more of a hit style or, um, and so you're not really pushing heavier. Um, so that was one of my, and I don't know if I should say this now, but that's one of the things that, um, I had to kind of commit to and was not easy at first was backing off. Um, so, um, I, yeah, so I, so one of the things Donna was asking me at my beginning was, can

30:08you give up some of those classes? Can you give up some of that? And let's implement three. Well, we started off with three days a week of weight training. Um, and now I'm at four days. Um, but, um, and I have to tell you, that was one of the hardest things because I've always been, Oh, more, more, more, more, more is better. Um, but we truly believe that was also the cause of a lot of my inflammation. A lot of my being, um, puffy and is my body had no time to recover.

30:42And I was constantly in this go, go, go training instead of this slow down, lift heavy, let's focus on the muscles. And I still do like three days of my HIIT cardio. Um, but, um, those are only like 35 minute classes and yeah, so I've, I've cut back tremendously, which was not easy for me because I have always been for 15 years. Like I used to teach a couple of spin classes and then go teach body pump and then do a boot

31:14camp class and then be like, okay, tomorrow's another day. Um, and so, Oh, and let's go run five miles today. So, so, so yeah, so to, it took a while to, um, you know, get in my head that it's not necessarily not more is not better. So now I just look at it as, um, you know, quality and, um, I'm sure we'll get there.

31:44But another thing that has absolutely saved me is your guys's, um, trainer app, the trainer eyes app for my weightlifting programs, because it has forced me. I love it. I love it. I don't, can't ever imagine going a day without it now. Um, but it, you know, it has, it forced me to rest because you have to, you know, push that start to rest in between your sets. I never did that before. I was just like, boom, boom, boom, boom. So, um, which I truly believe is also, um, forcing myself to rest has also enabled me

32:22to be able to become stronger. I can lift more because I'm actually letting my body rest. And so I think that's, I truly believe that's why I've seen the transformation in my muscles. Yeah. And the fullness I actually have, they actually can build instead of complete. I'm before I was just tearing them down all the time, tearing them down. They were never rebuilding. Yes. Yes. Yes, exactly. You're tearing them down inside the gym and then you rebuild them back up afterwards. Yes. Yes.

32:53With the rest and the right nutrition. With the rest. Yes. Exactly. Yep. With the rest. So that's huge. Less is more. So you're doing way less than what you were doing and you're seeing more results than you were. Yes. Wow. So how, when you look back, how does it feel when you look back and see how far that you've come? Um, it's, it's amazing to me. Like I'm, I'm in awe and shock every time I look back.

33:25And, um, one of the things I do, um, and, uh, I just, I fear going back there. I don't ever want to go back there. So I just have to like keep moving forward every day. And, um, and you know, it, it is, you, you do have to work on this every single day, like every day. Like it's, um, you just, you got to keep going and keep reminding yourself it's a lifestyle. This is, I feel amazing and better this way, but yeah, it's, it's almost emotional to

33:58look back because I can't hardly believe it. But at the same time, I just want people to understand like my first 60 days, I was like, Oh, I wonder if this is really going to work. Is this gonna, you know, and you have to trust the process. Absolutely. Have to trust the process and just, and just keep going. Um, because it does take time and it took time to get there and now it's time, you know, it's going to take time to get where I want to go.

34:30And, um, yes, it's, it's, um, you just trust the process is all I can say. Amen. Yeah. I mean, there's the women that are looking, I mean, it's January and people are looking for the next quick fix this year, the beginning of the year and they're trying to cut out carbs or they're trying to make results within 90 days. What would you say to that woman? Like, I mean, you kind of just said it, but how would you encourage her to, you know, how would you encourage her to try and do that mindset? I would.

35:01Yeah. I mean, um, it's just, how would I encourage her? I would tell her that she needs to trust the process and it's going to take longer than 90 days because it probably took more than 90 days to get where you are today. If you're signing up for something like this or wanting to change, it probably took more than 90 days to get there. So it's going to take 90 days to get out of there, um, or take more than 90 days to get out of there. So I just say, trust the process.

35:32And also you don't want a quick fix. You don't want, um, if you start losing weight too fast or you start, I mean, there's just, there's so many things out there that I see and I'm like, it's not a lifestyle. You will never be able to. I always also remind people like, can you do this for the rest of your life? Is this something you've signed up for and you can do for the rest of your life? Is this diet pill? Is this, you know, diet, crazy diet, all the fad diets?

36:03Is that something you can live with for the rest of your life? Because you can see the change. Yeah. It's going to work for you for 30, 60, 90 days, but let's talk to you in a year from now. Did it, is it something you can live with? Because if it's not something you can live with, don't even waste your time. Um, and so I just, I just say, trust the process and this is a lifestyle change. Um, and this program is absolutely, it's lifestyle and it's, there's nothing, there's no diet about

36:39it. There's no fads about it. It's, it's how to implement into your life so you can live. I love that. What's it like working with a coach? I love, um, I love the accountability with a coach. Um, having those weekly, weekly check-in forms for me, a lot of times you can tell me what to eat. You can tell me what to do and I will do it. But the accountability has been also been huge because even on my down, like I'll have a

37:09down week or just, just feel a little bit down or whatever. And I fill out one of those forms and I get my response from her. And then it's just like, Oh, I feel so much better. This is life or else, you know, like we, we have our daily chats and stuff with our, with our group. And you can see that other women are too, like this, this last week for a lot of women, for whatever reason, I'm blaming it on full moon, but I knew that's where you were going with it. But for whatever reason, it was just a down week and it's like, um, you know, so then it

37:41kind of makes you feel good that, Oh, I'm not alone here. This, I'm not the only one feeling this way. There's, you know, look at all these other women are feeling this way also. So the accountability of my coach and her, her support has been incredible. I love her so much. Someday I'm going to get across to the East coast and meet all of you guys in person. Let's go. It's already done. We'll make it happen. So for somebody that's watching this right now, which thank you so much for sharing your story and the transformation that you've made, not just within your body, but with also within

38:15your mind, somebody is watching this right now and is unsure about taking the next step. What would you tell them about warrior babe and the impact that it could have on their life? I would tell them, um, not to hesitate, um, that I guarantee that it will be life changing in many ways. Um, and I know one of the things that hold people back, um, I, I, um, is cost. But let me tell you, um, when you figure it out into a, break it down into a day, daily cost,

38:51monthly cost, what you spend, um, on junk food or coffees or whatever else your vice might be. Um, I can guarantee you, um, you will find that you can afford it. Um, or actually I should say for me, um, uh, there's just, there's no price tag on my life. And, um, I don't care how much it costs me.

39:21It saved my life. And that's, that's my big thing. Like, yes, it, it, there's cost to it. There's money to it, but I just, I can't even put a price tag on it because it saved me. So it's worth every frigging dime plus more. Oh man. Plus more. I felt that. I felt that. What would you say to someone that's specifically struggling with perimetopause like you were and feeling like they lost themselves? Is once again to, um, not hesitate to sign up and to trust the process because it's, um,

39:58it has changed. Like I said, um, your guys's program has, has saved me and it's, it, it tailors towards women that are going through these stages in life that we don't understand. I mean, it, nothing makes sense. Nothing. Um, how you eat, what you're doing, you know, it just, it's, and especially for women that are completely in tune with their body and all of a sudden experience this and are just like, what is happening? Um, and, and then again, for the women that just go through life thinking that this is the

40:32way it is. No, it's not the way it is. It's not, it's, we just have to learn about our bodies and what's going on and how we can combat that in a positive way. Oh man. I love that so much. What do you, one of the last questions, what do you feel like is like the biggest difference from warrior babe to the other programs that are out there that a lot of people, cause a lot of women are like, I've tried everything and nothing has worked. And, and, you know, and I have been on, I've hired, I've hired a couple of different fitness

41:05coaches. I've been on different programs and I would say, um, your guys's support is like no other. There's just so many avenues that you guys support and the accountability and the support is what's the main difference. I think, I mean, making us accountable with my fitness pal, the accountability of the trainer eyes app and you guys are constantly changing it. There's programs that I'd be on the same program for six months. Okay. You know, you guys are every four weeks, my program is changing.

41:38Um, so you guys are constantly challenging us, changing it. Um, the, the week you have your weekend check-in forms, you have your one-on-one once a month. Those are huge. The main thing is your guys's support system rocks. I mean, you guys just, and I see you speak and I'm just like, oh my God, that girl just touches my heart. Like it's the, the support system you guys have is incredible, incredible. Not to mention the knowledge that all of you, your entire team has the knowledge and, and

42:10what you guys have taught us or taught me, um, is like no other. Like I said, I've gotten tons of here, eat this, but I've never been really taught. Like, here's how you break down your protein, your carbs, your here's, here's, you know, I want you in this calorie. And, you know, so that's, that's, that's, yeah. You guys are amazing. That's awesome. Angela. I love that. Thank you for sharing that. It's like the why behind it, right? It's like along with the support, it's like the, why are you doing what you're doing on a

42:44daily basis so you can gain this knowledge. And then I go, I always say what we say to the coaches is like, we don't want you guys to be with us forever. We want you guys, I mean, as much as we would love that, but like, we want you guys to learn the things to be able to go off and trust yourself that you can do these things by yourself. Yes, absolutely. Absolutely. It's, it's training us. And, um, you know, and honestly, I could walk away at the end of this year and be like, okay, I could, I could probably figure this out, but I'm not ready for that.

43:16I want, I still want, I still feel that I'm, I need support and accountability and, um, sorry. Um, I still feel that I need, you know, I need that. And, and I want to just see what another year's transformation does. There's, there's a baby to stay with us for three. I mean, shoot, there's still the four that I've coached for the last like five years. I swear will never leave me.

43:47There's babies that stay with us for three, four years for that exact reason. I mean, like we, it, the accountability and the support goes such a long way, knowing that you have to check in for Donna on Friday, you know, you, you made a promise to her, which makes a promise to you. And yeah, so, well, Angela, thank you so much. Thank you for your story. It's, it was such a powerful story. I think it's going to go really deep with a lot of people that are going to listen to us, uh, or listen to this. I know that there's women that are struggling out there that also are having the same challenges

44:20that you've experienced. So I appreciate you so much for sharing your story and providing, um, the insights that you've had for yourself, you know, wherever you, where you were at the beginning, where you are now, which is so cool what you've done and you've done the work. Like, right. We were, I always talk about how it's a two way street when you're working with a coach, you can't be, you know, 20% or, and then the coach is 80%. Like it's 50, 50 partnership between the two of you. They show up, you show up. And absolutely. And that was one thing when you guys were very, you know, when I did the interview for

44:55the signing up for the program is, you know, are you coachable? Are you, will you listen? Because, you know, you, I can't be mad at you or dis your program. If I didn't follow what you guys said. And, um, I mean, I've even had that with clients. I get frustrated with because it's like, are you doing what your coach said? Because if you're not, you can't be mad at the coach. So, you know, just again, my biggest thing is don't hesitate to be a warrior babe and

45:32trust the process. You might drop. Yes. On that note, any way that is interested and wants to become a warrior babe and have an amazing journey, just like Angela has had, then check out the links in the description below. But Angela, thank you so much again for your time and letting everybody know that there's always a way to take back control and thrive. Absolutely. Absolutely. This is the way. All right. Let's go. Warrior babe for life. Warrior babe for life. Thank you. Thank you.
