Full transcript
00:00The biggest problem was never weight loss that I was seeing. The real problem was that women are drowning in these quick fixes, in these extremes. Let me cut out a macronutrient because this is what my friend Karen is doing. They're following conflicting information. And then the one thing I was like, no one is teaching them how to own their own body and how it actually works. Everywhere women were turning, they were told to eat less. They were told to train harder. They were told to cut carbs. They were told that fat diets are going to make them fatter.
00:30What happens at WarriorBabe is we don't teach women to override these things that their body is telling them. We teach them to understand it. We teach them to understand how stress impacts fat loss. Why? If they're so stressed out, if they're so busy at work, if there's so many things going on in their life, yet they're trying to follow this workout and macro routine, why they may not be seeing the results is because stress could be a factor. We help them understand that. What's going on, everybody?
01:01Hey, you guys. Welcome back to another episode of The WarriorBabe Show. Today, we are diving into episode number 326. And if you don't already know, on these episodes, we talk about mindset, methodologies, and tactics that will help you lose body fat, build muscle, be strong, and feel insanely confident. I am your host, Nikki Stott. And this episode that I have for you guys today is a little bit different than the episodes y'all are used to be speaking to.
01:37And honestly, two things. One, this was inspired from when I went into our team meeting last week and just poured life into the humans that show up for us every single day on the back end of Warrior Babe that make it, you know, make it what it is, that move the mission along. And then two, I've been wanting to record this type of episode for you guys for a really, really, really long time. But the thing is, it's not about macros.
02:11It's not about working out. It's not about motivation, discipline, all the things you probably want to hear with this new year. This episode is going to be why Warrior Babe exists at all. Just stay with me for a second because this is for you. This is for the woman that feels stuck, even though they feel like they're doing everything right. This is like everything. The reason why I sit behind this microphone and record a podcast is for you. The reason why what we do in Warrior Babe every single day is for you.
02:42The way that I think through creatively, the things that we want to give you guys and the transformations we want you to experience is because of you. Like I think from your shoes and I go from point A, where you're at starting your journey or where you may be at. If you're a beginner, if you're more a little bit a couple years into it, if you're a decade into it, but still confused. I think about where you're at. And I think about how I want to take you on your journey to get to that transformation, which is point Z.
03:15And it's because of you. It's all because of you. Whether you guys have been a part of this community for years, whether you've listened to these episodes quietly from the sidelines and you're not yet inside of the community, or maybe you know you're just totally brand new here. And this is one of your first episodes of the 300 that are out there. I just want you to know that this conversation that I'm going to have with you guys today is for you. Literally, it's going to come from like the bottom of my heart, just speaking directly to you on the other end of this.
03:48So I want to take it back to like kind of A1, day one to where it all started. But it's going to be short, and I'm going to get into some of the other things of where I see the industry needs some work, what I feel like a lot of women are being lied to. And I'm going to just continue to expand upon what I believe wholeheartedly Warrior Babe is like, as he is. But first, I just wanted to bring it back. Like I didn't start Warrior Babe to build a business. I didn't start it to build a team. I didn't start it to scale a company. And I definitely didn't start it because I felt like the fitness industry needed another fitness program.
04:20I started it because I remember wholeheartedly with one of the other partners on this team in the car, I was having a conversation, and I said, I just want to help people. And from there, this started in an apartment garage, literally. And back then, it was called Alpha Female Fitness. We had to go through this whole rebrand 2018, which was the best thing that ever happened because Warrior Babe was born there. Then, but back then, I was taking, working with Women 101 in this apartment garage, I was taking on women that I worked with in the emergency room as my clients.
04:58They were driven. They were trying so hard. And they were committed. And they were showing up. But I kept seeing this, like, they were exhausted. And they kept thinking it was them and not like all of these, you know, they're following these plans. They were eating less. They were training harder, right? Like, I saw this happening in them. They started to question themselves. And I was like, dang, there's something here of, like, I'm sure this person's dealing with this. 50 people are dealing with this. 100 people are dealing with this. And then I expanded into a studio, a small studio in the local town that I live in.
05:32And then I took on more women and clients. And I was in charge of my own marketing here. And then when I was in that studio, I was like, I kept seeing and hearing the biggest thing. And then this is where I was like, the 50 that I'm working with here or the 100 that I'm working with here, this could be 200, 300, 500, 1,000. To now we've served. The number in, like, our VIP, the women that come through is well over 20,000 come through our products. But 20,000 alone came in through a new program that we put together last year.
06:06Anyway, all of this to say, I continued to see this one thing. The biggest problem was never weight loss that I was seeing.
06:39They were told to train harder. They were told to cut carbs. They were told that, you know, fat diets are going to make them fatter. Like I said, like they were trying this new plan because someone else is doing it because Karen is trying it at work. And so I want to try it too when they were doing the same plan. But like this plan was made for Karen and it wasn't necessarily made for... Y'all hear that the new Karen's name is Jessica this year in 2026? I'm sorry to all the Jessicas out there. Heard this on the news the other day. But anyway, the plan is meant for Karen, but Jessica's trying to follow it.
07:09You know what I mean? Like nothing is just explaining to the women why something worked. Nothing is explaining why it stopped working. Nothing has explained why it never worked in the first place. So what I kept seeing was like when the quick fix failed or when these challenges were over and they always end and they always, you know, the quick fixes, they fail. Women didn't question that approach. They thought it was them. You think it's you. You think my metabolism's broken.
07:41I just don't have enough motivation. I'm not disciplined enough. I can't stick to anything. This is another program that I can't follow through on because it's not working. That type of belief is very devastating. Because once women stop trusting their own hunger cues or stop trusting rest or stop trusting consistency or stop trusting in themselves or stop believing that they can do something all because this one program is going to an extreme. And it's cutting out so many things that, of course, it's going to stop working. This woman thinks it's her and not the program.
08:12There is a part of this where the woman has to take ownership and responsibility, right? And that's what will help you do inside of Warrior Babes so that we can't default that it's the program's fault. But there is a point with these quick fixes. A lot of people give up instead of trying to understand what is happening. And that is what this cycle of the fitness industry truly profits from. And that's why when I saw this, like, problem, this issue, this something that could cause, like, the opposite, the solution, I wanted to break what the industry was focusing on.
08:45I wanted to create something that exists to break the mentality of the quick fixes and then to break the mentality of women thinking it's their fault. Because what happens at Warrior Babes is we don't teach women to override these things that their body is telling them. We teach them to understand it. We teach them to understand how stress impacts fat loss. Why, if they're so stressed out, if they're so busy at work, if there's so many things going on in their life, yet they're trying to follow this workout and macro routine, why they may not be seeing the results is because stress could be a factor.
09:18We help them understand that. There's programs out there that just tell you to eat 1200 calories and good luck and it doesn't inform you about stress could be a factor as to why you're not losing the fat loss or why you're not experiencing that. Like, we don't, that's things out there that don't tell you that. Or why under eating is backfiring for you. You could be eating 1200 calories because this program is telling you to do it and you could not be losing the weight, but it could be backfiring to where you're gaining the weight instead. And then you think it's you and not the program that's telling you to eat 1200 calories.
09:48But we are worried about how we understand why under eating. The biggest thing that I saw was the why and the other education, but not sending, like there's so many conflicting information out there. There's so much overwhelming information. It's like do this, try this. This new thing is out there, especially with the GLP ones and all the things going on in 2025 that are new and shiny. But like if the root cause isn't addressed as to why we're trying to lose the weight and you don't understand it, you're going to be on the same hamster wheel over and over and over again.
10:19Or another thing is how your hormones, how your age, how your lifestyle matters. How like a lot of women think, oh, this is just what happens as I get older. It doesn't have to be that way. Or the challenges people dive into and why consistency doesn't have to be perfect because people dive in these challenges. And I think they have to be perfect for 60 days or 80 days or 90 days. And when they aren't consistent and they fall off the program because they think they have to be perfect, it doesn't have to be that way. We educate you understanding why it doesn't have to be perfect.
10:50It just needs to look responsive over time. 1% better every single day. When women understand this and more importantly, when they understand their body, they're going to stop chasing these fixes. We have warrior babes, our retention rate in 2025 with our clients skyrocketed because this is a lifestyle that we are promoting and sharing to you guys. This isn't just like a 12-month program you're a part of. There's warrior babes that are signing up for two years, three years, even four years. There's warrior babes that have been in this program for five plus years.
11:21Because when you understand things, when you be educated by one coach that's working with you, you're going to stop chasing these quick fixes. You're going to stop chasing the next hot challenge that's out there in 2026. And when you stop chasing these fixes, quick fixes, you're going to stop fighting against yourself. And when you stop doing that and you understand this is where the foundation of your self-belief and your self-confidence and your trust, every of those things returns. And why you finally can consistently stick to something because you understand it.
11:54You get it. You know the why behind it. Quick break. If you're finding this episode helpful so far, it would mean a lot if you could hit pause for just a second, leave a quick rating or a review or share it with someone who could benefit from it. Your support helps more women discover these tools to build muscle, lose fat and feel confident. Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with me. You know, I leaned in heavy. And this is I will always say this. If I'm not evolving as a coach or as someone that is walking the talk and preaching this lifestyle, I'm not evolving in that.
12:30I'm doing all of you guys a disservice. I said back in the day, it's all about discipline. I still firmly believe that discipline is a skill set that will help you to be successful. But at the beginning of someone's journey, they don't want to hear that I just need to be more disciplined. And if that this will work, because if you believe that and that's the thing that you're focused on at the beginning, that could be detrimental at the beginning. Or if I had more time, then this is going to work. You don't need to think like that because this is the thing. Women are being told they need more restriction, more motivation, more control. And they're scrolling on social media with these perfect routines, these all or nothing plans.
13:05And they're trying to get in on that. And when life doesn't match that, then they assume like if they're trying to follow these perfect programs or these 80 day challenges or the 60 day challenges. There's part of me that's like, you know, these New Year's resolutions too. It's like how many I would love to know a stat of how many people actually follow through on the New Year's resolution. Because so many people try and fit like 10 of them into their year or 20 of them into their year. But anyway, I digress. When life doesn't match this perfect plan, then they assume that you guys assume that it's your fault.
13:37That's why discipline can be like it can be detrimental at the beginning of a journey because discipline isn't the missing piece. Again, it's understanding. It's understanding how to make this all work. I remember having conversations and we even do this with the coaches on the team. We have workshops where we talk about time management. Time management for the coaches schedules because they have a lot of one on ones with warrior babes. But also time management for yourself. If you're a warrior babe or if you're someone that just goes and works out, right? Or just listen to this episode and fitness is part of your lifestyle and you want to do better this year with it.
14:09Understanding how to put the workout on your calendar and actually follow through with that. Understanding how to eat right, to feel better, to recover, how to adapt instead of quitting. Because that's what trips up a lot of people. And then once that click, once the understanding of that clicks, everything starts to change. Everything physically, emotionally, spiritually, those things start to change. And I want you guys to hear this because I think this one matters too. What I want to say next is especially heading into this new year. I know that there's a lot of women are like, you know, I love everything that maybe warrior babe is about.
14:43I've seen the ads. I've seen Facebook. I've seen organic. I've seen YouTube. I've seen client testimonials. I've listened to them. But I'm just going to continue to wait. Especially, I want to say this especially for the new year. Waiting feels safe. I get it. It feels logical. It feels responsible. Women tell themselves they're going to deal with this later. They're going to deal with it when life slows down. They're going to deal with it. Maybe January isn't their time to get back into the new year. Maybe it's February. Maybe it's March or whatever when things aren't so busy. But I just have to say that if you're waiting to get your fitness into a type of groove for you that works for you, for you to understand it a little bit deeper, it just reinforces that your belief, that your confidence can stay on pause.
15:26That how you're feeling right now can just continue to elongate. That the patterns that you had in 2024 and 2025, they can just continue on in 2026. And then that's when later doesn't stay later. Later turns into months. And later turns into the end of 2026. And you're still in the same boat than when you started 2025. And then it turns into years of continuing to avoid photos. It turns into years of continuing to hide in your clothes. It turns into years of putting yourself last. But the one thing that I don't think a lot of women realize is it's not just the confidence from hiding or confidence from not being in photos or the confidence from, you know, not committing to a program that starts to deteriorate.
16:06What also starts to deteriorate in the waiting phase of starting your fitness and being committed to it and being in the, I'm not going to do this quick fixes anymore. I'm going to start to understand it at a deeper level or, you know, being a part of warrior, babe. If waiting is something that you are doing, it not only erodes the confidence or, you know. Ladies, are you feeling frustrated with body changes you're experiencing during menopause? It's time to take control.
16:38If you're between 45 and 65 years old and tired of struggling with body fat and muscle loss, Warrior Babe is here for you. 17:11Visit warriorbabe.com forward slash apply today to start your transformation. That's warriorbabe.com forward slash apply. All right, let's get back to the show. Lessons that it also starts to erode at your health. Because I like to think about it. I mean, I use this story that I told you guys from when I worked in the emergency room and I worked in the healthcare field for nine years before starting Warrior Babe. I worked in long-term healthcare in a nursing home and I worked in the ER.
17:44I saw what it would look like at 80 years old working with the elder demographic. I saw every single day hip fractures. I saw people getting sick. I saw that if I don't take care of myself now when I was in my early 20s, this could be a possible potential future of mine. That's another reason why Warrior Baby exists. Not just to give you guys understanding and the right information, but also more importantly, your health. Fitness, eating right, eating enough of the right foods. It all boils down to how systematically your body functions and how it can function really, really, really well.
18:21So if you continue to wait, you may not feel that your health is declining, but every single day your health is declining. As you get older, your health is declining. In five years, your health could look different. In 10 years, your health could look different. In 15 years, your health will look different. Okay, so it's like that's more of the waiting game that happens. And something also, when I say that you can't feel these things, there's a silent metabolic decline that is happening. Most women are already dealing with some level of metabolic dysfunction and don't even know it. They're dealing with, you don't, you can't feel blood sugar instability.
18:53You can't feel hormone disruption unless you're very in tune with your body. People just think it's aging. People feel like, oh, I don't feel good after eating this meal, but why? People are dealing, you can't feel chronic fatigue. It just feels like you're tired all the time. But why? And these things don't show up overnight. They show up in years down the road. And then when they do show up in years down the road, you know what's really hard? At that point, reversing them is so much harder. So when women are like, or you maybe are like, I'm just gonna wait.
19:26I'll wait to start. What you're really saying is, I'm hoping this doesn't get worse. Like it said with love. Okay, you guys know that I say directly, but I'm saying all this because I care about you guys and I love you guys. It's saying like this, I'm okay with where I'm at because this is where I'm at right now. I just don't have the time to make it happen. What I like to say is like, if you're saying that I don't have the time, what you should really just say is you're not making this a priority. Because waiting doesn't keep things neutral. It just allows these patterns to continue happening and allows things to show up down the road.
19:58The only way that's going to interrupt that is you having some aha moments here. Maybe listen to this episode or you're bringing awareness, you're creating awareness, and you create momentum. And then you create prevention from happening by getting yourself into something that is going to help you down the road have better health. So whether you're a warrior babe or you're in a program, maybe it's like I need to take the program more seriously. If you are, I'm high-fiving you through the computer or through this episode. If you are something that's been a listener for so long and you're not a part of the community, maybe this is like I feel this in my bones and I want to be in a good place in 10 to 15 years.
20:32Right? So it's like thinking about those things. And then I want to pause here because this part really matters very deeply to me. When I was talking to this part to the warrior babe team internally, I actually got emotional and started crying. When I think about warrior babe, I personally don't think about individual transformations alone anymore. I used to because I worked one-on-one with many of you babes, many of the clients before coaches came on board. I don't think about scale wheat.
21:03I don't think about before and after photos anymore. I love seeing them because our coaches are incredible and they're absolutely crushing their babes transformations and getting leaning into them and creating that type of shift. But the legacy that I want warrior babe to leave is much bigger than individual results. I want warrior babe to be a household name, not because it helps someone to lose weight, not because it helps someone to fit better in their clothes,
21:36but more importantly, because it changed the trajectory of a family's health. I want warrior babe to be the reason that someone says, this program saved my mom's life, or this program changed my grandmother's health, or this is why our family does things differently now. Or there's a mom out there that is a part of warrior babe that had an incredible transformation, understands the importance of eating more food and why. And now when you open the refrigerator,
22:08she's teaching her kids what protein, fats, and carbs are. Because when a woman learns how to and understands how to care for her body, truly actually care for it, understand why eating more, you know, can get past the fear of I'm going to gain weight, but understand why and what it does, and how training helps her to be stronger so she can play around with her grandkids, like truly learn to care for it. It doesn't stop with her. It impacts how her kids see food.
22:38It impacts how her family views movement and working out and strength training. It impacts the standards that get passed down. It's generational health. I want warrior babe to be the reason why in two generations now, a child is saying something that she learned from her great-great-grandmother or her great-grandmother. However, the generations work. You get what I'm saying with that though, right? My legacy and my vision for warrior babe has evolved past individual results.
23:09It's now family, woman, impact two generations, and making a different story about food and working out and strength training and all of that jazz. I want warrior babe to be the reason that women trust themselves again, the reason why they truly believe in themselves again, and the reason why they stop passing down this fear around food. How many of you guys have grown up with your moms who had been following diet after diet after diet after diet, and now you are doing the same thing,
23:41and then you start to see this happening in your kids. I want to be the reason why you stop passing down that fear. Your daughter could be the reason of that. Your stepdaughter, your daughter-in-law, your grandchildren. I want to stop passing down the restriction, to stop passing down the confusion around food in their body. This isn't just about getting women healthier. It's about her kids watching her nourish herself instead of punishing herself, right? It's about a woman's family watching her prioritize strength and movement for longevity, right?
24:14It's about breaking these cycles, and it's about creating new standards within how a family and a woman look at fitness, look at her body, and look at longevity. If one woman learns how to care for her body learning term, it doesn't just change her life. It impacts the generations after her. That's the legacy. Not just transformation. The transformations are incredible, but it's so much bigger than that now. It's generational health. It's confidence. It's self-trust. It's teaching the generations below us
24:46what our mom and our grandparents didn't teach us. You know, there's so much information out there, and people don't change because they learn more information. Most women already know a lot of it. People have read blogs. People try program to program. They try plans. The thing that isn't missing isn't the knowledge. It's the belief. You guys can go and read a Reddit blog, or you can go and read what macros are. You can go and listen to all these episodes, but it's also like the belief, can I actually do this?
25:19People change when they believe something different is possible for them, and that's where I hope that what we do at Warrior Babe is like we talk to you guys on the front end, right? We talk. There's a whole team. The first interaction is a call. It's not a sales call. We're seeing if you're a good fit for the program, one, because we don't let everybody into the program because I've seen the Karens on the other side, or I guess I should call them the Jessicas, on the other side of the community. There aren't good fits, and we got to kick them out.
25:49But the thing is, we want to create this stronger version of you, that we want to help instill. We know the belief because we've helped transform so many women's lives. We want to give that belief to you. And what I believe is that's not pressure. That's leadership. That's guiding you because right now you're maybe in a position that you don't trust yourself fully to start the program because your past history record doesn't look the greatest when it comes to starting new programs. But I hope that maybe by the end of this episode
26:21that you have some type of belief in you that it's not, that you can do what you put your mind to if you're given the right understanding. I shouldn't say information. You have all the information. One of the compasses of this episode is the understanding that is communicated into you in a way that's going to be understood so that you can take the action because you understand the why behind it. And that's why Warrior Babe exists. Not to sell you more information because it looks like that.
26:52We're selling you programs and products. And it's not to create dependence, but to give you the education and the understanding and the why behind what you're doing so that you can carry that out, not only for yourself, but for the people around you. And more importantly, like our mission statement is to help 100,000 women regain the personal power and feel confident in themselves. Get that personal power back. So really, that's what this episode I wanted to be about. Wow, 30 minutes long. It's just to let you know why.
27:25And then I see you. And then I hear you. And I know what you've gone through. And so do our amazing coaches at Warrior Babe. And that if you align with what our legacy, our mission is, and you feel like you need that support and that accountability and that help, then check out Warrior Babe. And even dive into any of, we have, you know, the macro method, which is a great, I get a lot of DMs lately about where I should start because there's a bunch of different products out there. The macro method is a great starting point
27:56in terms of $27, in terms of just getting down, understanding macronutrients. And then obviously we have our VIP coaching that is more expensive that you can dive into to work with a one-on-one coach. But we have some other outlets too as well. Even this episode, these episodes, I know that I've heard transformation stories of women lose 70 to 80 pounds of just listening to these episodes. So all in all to say this of why it started, mainly it started for you,
28:26for the babe listening to this on the other end of this, to help you break generational patterns and create generational health for the generations that you are empowering around this topic of fitness and health and nutrition. So I hope this resonates with you guys in one way or another. I love you guys and I will see you in the next episode. Real quick, if this episode resonated with you or gave you the push that you needed, I'd love for you to pay it forward. Drop a quick rating and review,
28:57share the podcast with someone who might need it and help me keep spreading the word. Your feedback not only helps the show grow, but it might just be the nudge someone else needs to kickstart their transformation. Thank you so, so, so much for your support.
